Azureblight reaper and mid weaving

This set is still broken and after this last server maintenance got a new bug.

Now this set activates from mid weaving heavy attacks.....doesn't activate from poison dots, flame dots, bleed dots, armor dots, some ultimate dots, some skill dots. No, it activates from mid heavy attacks.

When you deal damage with a damage over time effect, you apply a stack of Blight Seed to your target for 5 seconds. At 20 stacks, the Blight Seed explodes, dealing 1745 Disease Damage to the target and nearby enemies, scaling off the higher of your Weapon or Spell Damage. An enemy can only have one instance of Blight Seed at a time. An enemy that has reached 20 stacks cannot be infected with Blight Seed for 2 seconds.

Please fix it, been bugged for almost a year now. This is paid content

Some of these may be intended. Azureblight is a proc set, and the devs have a rule that procs cannot activate other procs. Burning and poisoned are DoTs, but they are also status effect procs and therefore cannot build Azure stacks. This is the same reason that Burning cannot be used for Elemental Catalyst, and neither can elemental weapon enchants.

Which bleed DoTs, armor DoTs and ultimates do not work? There could be some bugs associated with it.

Oh I see, the bug is just the devs. Then I'll just go back to not playing like the rest of my friends. Especially if heavy attacking counts but 80% of the dots in game were made not to work because the devs thought they had a great idea. All bleed dots don't work, all armor dots don't work, for some reason necro colossus and it's morphs do work.

So long story short, people paid for something because of ehat it did and they enjoy that. After paying for it zos yet again removed that and scammed them. Awesome, it's like the pre order for hunter glade being changed after people already paid for it. God I regret spending some much money on this scammy game, but thanks for letting me know nothing has changed about the devs. Cheers

    A side note:

Azureblight is extremely difficult to build for now because
    1. you need 3 or 4 AoE abilities on a 1 second ticket interval to build stacks fast enough
    2. you still need a significant amount of weapon/spell damage

You can do this in PvP on a Warden or Sorc.
    • Razor Caltrops
    • Blockade of Frost
    • Mystic Orb
    • Lightning Flood / Winter's Revenge

In PvE these are easy to manage, say for Skyreach Catacombs power leveling.

In PvP, these are an absolute nightmare to micro manage. Enemies are constantly moving and rarely stay in the same spot. In the rare chance that you end up in a PvP battle in the same spot for more than a few seconds, then you need a healer to keep you alive while you spend 4+ seconds casting these abilities. Mechanically, building Azureblight stacks is not easy anymore.

If you do manage to build stacks quickly, you still need ridiculous levels of damage to make an impact.

    <<3>> = + 1.74532 MaxPower (Ultimate, Dmg, Disease, AOE, Direct, Melee, R2 = 1)

Even 8000 spell damage will only get you 13962 tooltip damage. In PvP this is only 2-3k splash damage after Battle Spirit and mitigation. Azureblight is a dead set now with the exception of a few niche PvP scenarios.

It can actually do really well in PvE in certain circumstances not covered there (in vet and HM content), some of which are due to another bug concerning what applies stacks.
