Hey @ZOS_Kevin - There is another vampire bug that has been reported here numerous times, but never once acknowledged by the team.

When you're a vampire, the cost of your abilities (including your ultimate) is increased in proportion to your stage. With Nightblade's "Incapacitating Strike" morph of "death stroke", the ability is supposed to change to include a stun when you cast it with more than 120 ultimate stored. However, as vampire you actually need slightly more ultimate before it transforms into the stun version, for example a stage 3 vamp needs 130 ult to cast the stun version.

The bug is that when you hit 120 ultimate as a vampire nightblade, incapacitating strike actually greys out and becomes un-castable until you hit 130 ultimate, or whatever threshold your vampire stage increase the cost to.

This results in the ability becoming uncastable for periods of time when you have more than enough ult to cast the base version.

Could you please pass this along? It has been a problem for years.

    Greetings,

After further review we have decided to move this thread to a category we think is more appropriate for this topic.

    Thank you for your understanding.

@logan68 and @dragonlord500, could you provide a video of this happening to you in-game? That way, our team can take a look and have a better chance at reproducing the bug on our end.

@React do me a favor, if you could spin this off into a new thread and tag me that would be helpful. That way I don't lose your note in this thread. You can just copy what you put in this thread in the new one.

Can confirm this also happens to a friend and I as well when we're playing our vampire toons.

Just skims a little off the top - like 5%.

Possibly a splinter from the door jamb? %)

@Kirawolfe Could you send an example? Like a video of this happening? It could help our team to reproduce it internally and understand what is happening.

I can certainly try. A friend of mine (who I play as vamps with a lot) suggested this though, and it sounds very feasible:

"You load in at X amount of health, then your armour/sets/whatever add health, but you're at stage 4, so x amount of health is what it stays at because you don't 'heal'"

The issue is of course that you're at that top off health prior to going through the door, then the above happens.

I've noticed this actually happens to Bastian as well, when he first pops in. He comes in with a little off the top, and that's probably because his armor then adds to his health cap and he regens to it.

    I'll test it tonight.

Thanks, @Kirawolfe. Any follow-up after testing would be great. Would you also be able to confirm if you have the boundless vitality champion perk active?

Hello! Alrighty, I tried it with armor, etc, and it drops to 93%, removed all armor, food, buffs, pets, etc, and it dropped to 92% (but smaller health pool so that makes sense).

Removed the Boundless Vitality CP and no health drops when zoning.

It is the extra health added by Boundless Vitality. You zone in with base health + buffs + passives filled in, and cap is added for Boundless Vitality, but the health isn't added, just the cap. You don't regen it because you're stage 4.

Actually, I have to take that back, my friend just tried this and unslotting Boundless Vitality didn't fix the issue. He still comes in at 5% health down as a stage 4 vampire when zoning.

He does have Hero's Vigor, but he can't unslot that easily, and I know my vamp has that as well.

    So that's bizarre...
