Hey there! I would like to introduce a recently launched source for PvP Builds: https://decimusgaming.com/
The website is a constant work in progress and lots of features will be added, but for now it contains all the builds that have gone through hundreds of hours of playtesting and theorycrafting.
Planned features include:
Descriptions of combos & tips for each build.
An outfits section for each class.
A section for guides (such as speed jumps, delayed weaving etc).
I will update this thread as new builds are added, or existing ones are updated.
If you have any questions feel free to ask me on Twitch where I stream these builds on (almost) daily basis, or on Twitter. Some of these builds & guides are also on my Youtube.
We also have a Discord server with a build discussion channel.
Changes:
Switched out Witch-Knight for Mechanical Acuity.
Mechanical Acuity adds to the Corrosive burst window (or provides you burst outside of it) and complements the Rallying Cry back bar a lot by providing a guaranteed proc for it (less need to wait around on the back bar). After some testing I can say this is definitely an improvement to the build.
Most of the builds have been updated for the current patch!
Changes: Magicka Dragonknight
Switched the race to Khajiit.
This change provides us with a lot of extra damage, as we're using Acuity and thus building around Critical Damage.
Dropped Burning Talons, slotted the new Chains of Devastation
This lets us stick to targets a lot better and speeds up whip stack building. It also provides us with +10% damage to everything, leading to even bigger burst than before.
Magicka Necromancer Work in progress - Harmony changes force us to take a new approach entirely with magcro.
Magicka Nightblade
No changes.
Magicka Sorcerer
Switched out Slimecraw for Mighty Chudan, dropped Hurricane, moved Resolving Vigor to back bar and now front barring Hardened Ward.
With our health pool and the buffs to Hardened Ward, this provides us with a lot of much needed extra survivability at a minimal cost to damage.
Switched Endless Fury to Mages' Wrath.
This morph is now superior, as it basically acts as an in-built Plaguebreak.
Magicka Templar
Dropped Race Against Time, slotted Elusive Mist.
Elusive Mist is basically a must have survivability tool now after the changes. It provides a huge amount of additional mobility and helps proc vampire passive for additional spell damage (which has a very good scaling on Templar).
Dropped Force Pulse and Draugrkin, slotted Dark Flare and Snake in the Stars
This setup has less of a defensive penalty while on the front bar as there is no more healing taken debuff from Draugrkin. The new Snake in the Stars set also works very well with Dark Flare, as Dark Flare procs it with Major Defile when it lands, which is then followed up by Javelin stun and beam, forcing your opponent to spam heals while taking unblockable and unmitigable damage from each heal.
Magicka Warden Some pretty fundamental changes due to changes to Wall of Elements and Crystallized Slab.
Switched the race from Khajiit to Breton to help out with the magicka sustain.
Switched out Maelstrom Ice Staff for Maelstrom Restoration Staff, switched Elemental Blockade to Radiating Regeneration.
As a result of the changes to ice wall, Elemental Blockade and Maelstrom Ice Staff (by association) lost a lot of value. It is hard to keep people in the wall and thus the potential of the skill is greatly reduced. This combined with there being less counters (RIP Crystallized Slab) to ranged builds (i.e. people not in your ice wall) lead to a change of approach when it comes to magden gameplay. Radiating Regeneration provides a good amount of additional survivability with its heal over time and more importantly magicka sustain that works even while blocking with the front bar ice staff. This also helps the build provide a lot more group support in form of crosshealing.
Switched out Crystallized Slab for Cutting Dive.
Since Cutting Dive now applies it bleed guaranteed, it is an excellent skill for DoT pressure as it provides two damage over time effects (the skill bleed itself and the Hemorrhaging status effect), while doing basically spammable damage upon landing and applying Off Balance. If you find yourself low on magicka but high on stamina, this skill can be used as a spammable as well, helping tremendously with the troublesome magicka sustain on magden.
Switched out Rallying Cry for Ice Furnace.
This provides us with a lot of AoE pressure along with Burning procs, which lets us run Poison glyph on the weapon. This makes sure we have all the elemental status DoT procs: Burning, Poisoned and Hemorrhaging alongside Cutting Dive Bleed and the DoT from Frost Reach.
Stamina Dragonknight
Now a stage 3 vampire for some additional survivability.
Stamina Necromancer
Completely new build focused around Blastbones Ice Comet Rush of Agony combos and good survivability with Mara's Balm and Elusive Mist!
Stamina Nightblade (Melee)
No changes, yet
Stamina Nightblade (Bow)
Completely new build, incorporating the new Roksa set for sustain and Elusive Mist+Cloak for survivability.
Stamina Sorcerer
Switched out Maarselok for Roksa
The sustain from Roksa far outweighs the additional pressure from Maarselok, not just defensively but also offensively as it lets you stick to your targets almost infinitely until they're dead.
Switched out Temporal Guard for Swarming Scion
Combined with the additional sustain, Swarming Scion lets you really stay in fights and overwhelm opponents with pressure - usually worth using in place of Storm Atronach (which still remains on the front bar in order to activate Daedric Protection sustain passive).
