[Suggestion] Give us player crafting writs

I suggest to implement a board where player can post requests for crafting items, including required traits, enchantments, minimum quality and optionally style. Also for furniture items. And an indication what the player is ready to pay for it. The requesting player would have to pre-pay this amount which would be handed to the crafter upon completion. When a crafter accepts a player writ he could craft the item, turn it in to where the normal master crafting writs are handed in and the requesting player would recieve the item in his mail while the crafter would get the money per mail too.

A player writ would be active for 30 days on the board and disappear afterwards. The pre-paid money would be returned to the player per mail just like it happens for item not sold via guild store.

Well, it could be buggy as hell, but I love the whole idea. It really can give the crafting economy a new life.

I have more points to add:
    - Crafter can't get more than one writ at a time like the other writs.
    - Player crafting writ has time limit for crafter to do. Let's say 2 hours. If abandoned by will or by timeout, you can't get the same writ again for 15 minutes.

Both are to avoid griefing by someone's writ holding.

I think this is a great idea, and oddly enough, someone else in my group just brought this up a couple of days ago.

Warcraft did something similar, but from what I've seen almost no one uses it. It's still a neat feature though.

I think you should be able to take 1 of each kind like the current writs / day or even / week maybe. I agree you shouldn't be able to just take as many as you want. Unless you made that after so many it started pulling from your own mats.

isn't this why we have guild crafters and guild halls with like 400+ crafting tables?

It's not something I'd ever use/be interested in, but I don't see any reason it shouldn't be added for those who would like it.

We also have trading in zone chat and guild chat. But guild trader ingame service is way more convenient and scalable than that. So many players use guild traders despite it is not always free, while some still trade in chats.

Same way, crafter offer their service by chats, mail or third part tools now. Ingame service implementation will make it faster, easier, more global. I would use it instead of mailing.
Good option if you ask me, while nobody is forced to use it - crafters will be free to use any tool to organize people orders.
Would you like to order/craft things to guildmates only?

I'd be way more willing to craft for people than I do now if this were a thing. The thing I hate most about crafting people is how long it takes to get this information out of them.

Would love this but I'd want the timer to be an hour max. If I need someone to craft me something I don't wanna wait 30 days for it to arrive lol.

An example of the nightmare conversations as to why I don't craft for people in zone anymore LOL.

    Them: LF Master Crafter
Me: Hi. What do you need?
Them: Hi thanks. I need DPS
    Me: Okay, which set.
Them: I want to do more dungeons....
Me: Sure. So, like Orders Wrath?
Them: No. I don't always do meta. I'd like Seducer.
Me: okay, seducer it is. What trait and style?
Them: do you think seducer is a good set.
Me: Well. I would recommend Order's Wrath but Seducer is okay if that's what you want.
Them: Okay, I'll take Order's Wrath.
Me: Great. What trait and style.
Them: I don't really care about the style.
    Me: Okay. And the trait?
Them: I use the outfit station. They have a lot of looks. Actually can you make the chest the Mercenary coat? I don't have that one.
Me: Sure, that's a nice look. And the trait?
Them: Which trait is good for damage?
    Me: Divines is pretty popular
Them: Okay, I'll take Nirnhoned. Oh yeah, you need the mats. Let me look in my craft bag.
    Me: Okay
Them: Actually, I don't have the Nirn lemme go buy it some real quick
Me: I have some. You can just pay me for x
Them: no, no. I need some anyway brb.
    Me:.....
Them: Okay, here it. Lemme just split this stack. Oh wait my inventory is full. Okay, here we go. Here's the mats.
Me: Alright *finally crafts the item*
Them: Thanks! Oh yeah, can I get it in purple?
    Me: Sure
Them: Oh yeah, also I need another set.

That sounds like a great idea, if i have the time i can go do a job. Yeah i wouldnt touch zonechat crafting with a barge pole lol, its mickey mouse at the best of times. Theres lots that will try to take you for a ride or pester you 24/7 for favours, i learnt that early in the piece on xbox. These days i just help out people for free when i discover theyre decent sorts.

I never considered something like this, it would certainly give crafter's a little more to do! I am all for this idea!
