The rarity is compared to Aetherial Cipher (for the 150% Ambrosia), the difference is that Cipher can drop with microscopic chance when looting anything in the game. Lost Thesis is only awarded for the Battleground reward.

Rarest selling item in the game would have to be a Dylora Staff, as it has no drop rate at all.

I would estimate them to have similar values. Both are required for completionists.

I've farmed well over 100 hours trying to get the purple Aylied furnishing plans and have yet to pull a single one, so I'm going to assume that my RNG isn't even remotely high enough to pull the Sixth House Banner furnishing.

I really wish I would have known the 6th house banner was rare before I deleted two of them thinking they were just random trash furniture I didn't want.

I've gotten the colovion war torte recipe and the aetherial cipher and several aetheric dust. I can't decide if to sell them or learn them. I tried selling them but they didn't sell at the price I had listed them for.
