The Elder Scrolls Online v8.2.8 fixes the most recent issue with block – putting it back into its pre-Update 36 state – fixed an issue where Kjalnar's Mask Style Pages were not dropping, Faun’s Lark Cladding could get stuck in your character, and more. We’ve also updated the Privacy Policy, which will prompt you to re-accept upon logging in. The size of this patch is approximately 127MB.

- Fixed an issue where Timbershade did not count for endeavors to kill world bosses.
Quests
- A Heart Turned Black: Fixed an issue where Elder Pitof would not properly advance after cleansing Bloated Muse-Mouths.
- The Moth Study: Fixed an issue where quest pins for the moths would disappear upon collecting only one of them (though the moths themselves were still there at their usual locations).
General
- Fixed an issue where the Kjalnar's Mask Style Pages were not dropping as intended in Unhallowed Grave.

- Rolled back some code that was preventing you from blocking, most commonly occurring when attempting to swap weapons while weapons were being drawn or sheathed. This change will bring Block back into the state it was in prior to Update 36 launching.

- Faun’s Lark Cladding: Fixed an issue where this set could become stuck on the wearer in some cases.
General
- Added the missing Stonelore Crown Crate image for the Rose Petal Cascade furnishing item.

- Temporarily reduced how often the Undaunted Plunder can be obtained from the final bosses in all Veteran Craglorn trials to address an exploit in those areas.

- Updated the Privacy Policy in the German, French, Spanish, Russian and Chinese game clients. Please note you will need to re-accept the Privacy Policy upon logging in.
- Fixed a rare crash that could occur when logging out.
Mac Game Client
- Fixed an issue affecting mouse inputs that could prevent players on macOS Ventura from advancing past character select.
General
- Made miscellaneous improvements to the profanity filter in multiple languages.
Gamepad Mode
- Fixed an issue that caused the housing link keybind to appear as the wrong key in the Gamepad Mail tooltip.
