Fungal Grotto 2 has an egregious quest bug

And it's caused by the fact that the third Fighters Guild member hides in a very off position to find when going through the dungeon with randoms, who often just want to finish the ordeal as fast as possible. Not finding the guild member in his cage, since you always just run past him while fighting a big trash pool before "Mistress Bandu" - coupled with the fact that the quest marker erroneously points further ahead in the dungeon for his location - makes this quest impossible to finish once you get through the dungeon - because he'll show up anyway and just say something about hating spiders, but without allowing for the quest to progress. Story short you have to run the dungeon again.
This has now happened to me twice and I'm sure for that reason it's happened to countless others because it also happened to a person I was grouped with for today's pledge.
