    Ok, got it!
One question; if someone for example sells said page in zone chat, how should I know in which way the person got the page? If the person did run it with a friend/s, with randoms,if the person did speed run the dungeon or they waited for the group?
Or when they sell it on the guild trader, how am I supposed to know who is who?
    Total ESO playtime: 8325 hours
    ESO plus status: Cancelled
    ESO currently uninstalled.

basically the dungeon can be done with 2 people and companions (solo, if it wasnt the fact 2 need to stand on certain plates) simply dont buy it because of the exact reason of this post, doesnt matter if someone is selling one may have done it a reasonable way the fact is this is happenening and basically 9 times out of 10 the dungeon is unenjoyable for PuGs, kind of off-limits until the mask page stops dropping ! and if all that needs to be done to make a mill gold is run throough a vet dungeon skipping absolutely everything just to die then kill a boss, why would you spend it ?

Monster helms are bound to the group members who make a particular dungeon run, and are only tradeable between those group members for a limited time immediately following the run (I think it's two hours?) before they become bound specifically to the person who earned them.

They aren't tradeable outside the group who ran the dungeon, or outside the trade window to which that group is bound, so neither can they be sold in chat nor via the guild traders.

    Edit:

Oh, wait. You said page. I don't know if the Monster set style pages are bound to the same rules as the helms, themselves.
    Sorry for the interjection.

So hard to know who to trust!
Why just the other day I saw someone running around Galen picking Columbine before anyone else got there, the nerve!
And then a bit later I see Columbine FOR SALE in zone. Now I can't say if it was the same character but I'll bet my left boot it was! That same unscrupulous swindler is trying to sell it!
Well I'll never buy any Columbine, that'll show 'em.

Someone kicked you from Direfrost and you created this thread. Ok. People farming pages for sale. Don't go there if you don't like it.

I think you have identified a potential issue (group finder placing you with players that share a different play style) then extrapolating that in order to help prevent this action that you find undesirable, people should not buy the Iceheart Mask style.

While I can understand the frustration with groups that play in different ways, I'm not sure your solution really addresses your core issue.

Sorry, you had such a bad experience with a pug group. Most groups doing dungeons are not pugs; they are guilds and friends forming before queueing. Even with pug groups, most are not kicking other members for any reason. As such, it is unfair to cast everyone in the same light as the extreme few who do what happened to you.

So people, please disregard the suggestion. Buy the page from a player if you want to buy the page.

I mean, I used run these sorts of things with a friend and farm the masks. We are always conscientious to players who were doing quests. If we wanted to speedrun the masks through cheesy farm tactics, we would do it with just us two. If we wanted to queue up for it, we would and we'd wait to see what the group does.

Some masks just aren't worth the effort to keep farming, but just because you had a bad experience doesn't mean everyone's going to have bad intentions.

Your issue seems to be more along the lines of people not getting leaver penalties for playing like this in matchmade groups, so you want the community to punish everyone who satisfies one data point that overlaps with other people who share that data point who didn't cause you distress.

This is the tip of the "iceberg" my friend. It only gets worse from here so unfortunately you either learn to deal with people doing crap like this or find another game. They don't care about anyone else.

However, add to that, please remember not everyone is like this. Its a reason I run as Tank often so I not only can provide for everyone but can also have some measure of control, if nothing else the situation, when we luck up on one of them wild cats in the group hah.

Ok y'all some of us just form a group and do it on our own. Nothing wrong with that at all. It takes a pretty coordinated group to run it a decent amount of times and they have a 5% drop rate. Not like it's a freebie that drops all the time. It's a huge grind. I could do 25 runs and not get a single drop. People want to make money and there is nothing wrong with that. Pugs are their own thing and yeah it sucks and it's kind of selfish but the majority are not doing that. People do those kind of things mask or not so it's really not ok to crap on people for grinding for something. Examples that come to mind: undaunted, gear farms, fungal grotto. Are folks gonna say the same about unhallowed cause that is a huge commitment to even get one. As far as farming mats? Galen is heavily trafficked being the new zone. Just farm somewhere else. It's not even remotely the best place to farm for mats. That person was wasting time anyway. You can get 4x as much if you know where to go.

Tbf they're not playing a different way, they're just not playing. I think it's best if people want to rush a vet dungeon for whatever reason, they should form a premade and go in, no reason to subject other randoms from the queue to that.

It's a mix of playstyles combined with a lack of any desire to play nicely with others or consider the needs of the rest of the group. If all 4 members want to blast through a dungeon at the speed of light and skip all the mobs, they will probably all have a lot of fun with that.

There is, however, an issue when those same players enter a dungeon finder group and without consideration at all for the other group members, attempt to do the same thing. They are still playing the exact way they want to, but now there is a conflict as the others in the group have no interest in playing this way but are now forced into it.

A certain amount of consideration for the play styles of others can help make any dungeon finder group a more enjoyable experience for all.

That's the thing: when someone joins a group from the finder, they can't play the exact way they want to--even if they find rushing fun, they have to consider the rest of the group, that someone might be doing the quest, or need the side bosses for achievements, or hunting for chests. The individual preference is irrelevant and shouldn't even come into question, since there is a generally prescribed way of running dungeons with pugs, that is to kill all the encounters. Hence why people who want to speed run it, especially during events/promotions, should stick to premades.

Just fyi I also consider rushing a dungeon (with my premade group) a blast. We have so much fun trying to outrun 70 mobs chasing us through the entire dungeon. So yes, some folks find it fun. Just a different play style.

I wouldn't buy it in the 1st place because it's from Direfrost Keep, a base game dungeon which is much easier to do than any DLC dungeon.

They should introduce a label for organically farmed items!
