Recall of the Galen Wilds disappointing

Sadly this isn't even fully green, just a mix of the blue and green. The stars are green and there's a pale green aura at your feet but the main beam from the sky is still blue and sucks the colour out of the green.

Hoping this isn't "working as intended...."

You sure that beam isn't from an add-on you have installed?

Looks like you are using the BeamMeUp addon. The blue beam from the sky is from the addon, not the game itself.

Base game doesn't have a blue beam

I've been seeing quite a few vertical blue beams lately and I don't use addons.

Most likely from Finvir's trinket memento. Shoots a blue beam into the sky.

You see the beam when someone else uses that addon, because that addon just invokes the memento.

Beam or not, it is a bit disappointing. It’s the same thing as base, but with a slightly different shader.

I was expecting a little more effort into it than just a reshade.

I had been noticing that recently too. I thought it was something they had changed in the game.

Yes, it's very disappointing, just a recolour of the same animation.

In any case, these should be in-game rewards or at the least, offered in the store as normal items, not locked behind crates.

They're in the endeavour store so there's no rng or real money needed.

Just to add to this, I do like the gathering animation variant. That at least showed some effort. It’s a nice variant to put on my Bosmers.

I was hoping for somthing in the 100 crown gem range would be more then just a re-color. I as well am dissapointed. Feels like a waste for 100.

the reshade on the teleport seemed really meh, same with the gatherer animation

Personally, i kind of like it. Not just a recolour, it has different sound effect too. Though i agree, it seems overpriced and would be more fitting as quest reward. Not something average player should miss anyway.

I have no problems with re-skins buttttt when they slap on a different color and push it out for 100 crown gems thats worrysome. It really is a zero effort product they pushed out. For somthing made so easily why can they not just add it as an in game reward. Literally every single thing is monetized, give us somthing!

They can add better ones down the line that have real effort put in and actually feel worth the cost. But of course they can make money NOW off a lesser product so theyre going to

This was something I discussed on the PTS. Since the animation is exactly the same with just a color shift, they should have made it something special where players could pick the color of it, whether by using a color wheel like for chat colors or from a pre-selected assortment of colors so they could customize it to fit their builds.

I also like the falcon but I wish they'd gotten rid of the green poof and just made the falcon on its own. Then even my non-mage characters could use it and it'd work for them.

Not just a re-skin, though. A friend got it in a Crown crate and told me that it affects gold used for fast traveling (i.e. not going wayshrine to wayshrine). So, I bought it myself with 3,600 Seals of Endeavor and, indeed, it always costs you the lowest base cost to travel (so, if you have the green passive fully maxed out so it's 73 gold to travel, then it's 73 gold), even if you just recently traveled.

I'm not a fan of green, but I'll leave this on for the gold savings over time.

im kind of thinking that might be a bug

with beam me up addon and 71 houses, i hardly ever need to use the wayshrines to begin with (and ive actually saved almost 1 million gold in total on wayshrine ports using beam me up over the years)
