Why Can't We Pick Color of Face Markings?

I play as a Khajiit and I really don't like the red war paint (Face Marking category in character creation). Why can't I pick what color the war paint is on my characters?

I don't really have anything against the color red...it's a great color and all...just not my style and it really doesn't fit my characters. Blue would be great, but I think black should at least be an option.

(Sorry if this is in the wrong place but I can't seem to navigate to a general discussion page on this forum...).

There's no general discussion page, as much as we want one. This is probably the best place for this question.

Red war paint is chosen in character creation, when you first create your character. I'm not sure where, but there should be some sort of face marking slider which, when you slide, will swap between lots of different face paints and markings (or none if you want).

Unfortunately, the Khajiit get the short end of the stick on markings - Most of their actual 'war paint' markings are a bright cherry red. It's not optimal.

Most Khajiit face paints look like dried blood... like you'd see on a lionesses' muzzle after she kills some animal on one of those nature documentaries.

The red paint looks good on the Dwarf...err, the Nord (that secretly looks like a tall Tolkein dwarf) in the cinematic trailer.

BTW, not sure about Kajiit, but tatoo colors are based on the faction you are in. Red=Ebonheart, Blue=DC, Yellow = AD.
In any case, use the /feedback and tell ZoS. It probably would not be addressed through the forums.
