Why? For those who have completed all research, it's a tad pointless, don't you think?

I guess I might have appreciated them way back when I wasn't done with research. What I mostly want is a skip button so I don't have to manually get rid of all the things I don't want/need.

I'd be happy to still get them, if I could sell them. :D

I wish it was possible to trade them. I've got absolutely no use for them and have actually ended up deleting some, but I know other people would really like them and I'd give mine to them if I could. They'd be an ideal thing to put into one of my guild banks for newer players to use.

It's the same with most of them though for vet players.

Why do I want tri stat food? Or 1k AP?

    It is what it is.

But they're super useful for new players, which is fine.

The rewards are pretty poor as whole tbh.

Its useful for those that haven't got all the traits yet.

And for those that want to research the traits on other characters to increase the drop chance for master writs when doing daily writs on multiple characters each day.

Personally, I just store them in case ZOS will suddenly decide to add new traits or gear pieces. ;)

It seems the devs try to ensure the Daily Rewards appeal to both newer players and vets alike, so I don't seem them removing research scrolls (or anything on the DR currently) anytime soon.

Although I do wish we could sell them. But if they ever do allow us, it'll likely be something we can only sell as vendor trash, so no selling on guild traders.

Never said it wasn't. Also never said anything about removing them. Choices would be nice.

Yes, I simple do the research on all characters once they got enough skill points as it takes around a year.

Maybe they could let us trade them in for a seal of endeavour, even 1, would be more useful. I am such a hoarder and dislike destructing things that just might be of use one day (who knows I may make another character some time). They are just taking up precious space in my bank, or in a toon's backpack.
I would trade them in, in a heartbeat if I could.

Not every login 'reward' is for everyone.

For people with piles of soul gems, more soul gems is a tad pointless, don't you think?
For people who don't use weapon skills, poison is a tad pointless.
For people who eat a particular food for particular buffs, crown chicken is a tad pointless
    Etc,
    etc
    etc

For people who don't care about (pets, emotes, whatever) the monthly "big prize" can be entirely pointless.

There was never meant to be a guarantee that you would want or need everything in the login rewards.

I've been passing them on to my alts which I hardly ever play. They probably have enough to become master crafter in a day at this point.

Daily logins were more to help newer players, not people at endgame. Also you can use the items on other chars, since some like to max everything on multiple, incase they change to new mains,so not to relog to do things.

I wish the research scrolls, and for that matter the riding lessons, went to the currency tab. It’s just barely possible I might someday level up another alt and want them, and it would be nice to get those inventory spots back until that day.

Pretty much every single consumable has had a "this is useless to me, why can't we have better stuff" complaint laid against it by someone.

In the end, it all boils down to "not everything is meant to be useful for everyone." Live with it.

Switching servers I was quite surprised how useful some of the stuff was- especially the food and soul gems. On my old account that stuff just got deleted immediately after being claimed.

The research scrolls- hopefully they encourage new players to start figuring out crafting and the importance of doing research.

Having said that in the two games I've played this year with similar systems- Fallout 76 and Red Dead Online, the daily log in rewards/ daily challenge rewards are useful for everyone. So I'm sure eso could do better.

The rewards should appeal to a wide range of characters.

But, i really would like a Skip button so I don't have to Compost rewards i am going to delete.

No just because it for all and for all others who don't have all 18 toons maxed in every single thing. Don't you think?
Some choices maybe can be usefull but i don't think that will something change so why complain about it?

Nobody forces you to collect them and you can always delete them. If they stopped giving them out and then created a new race/class and gave you more character slots, I guess you'd complain again.

I think "this thing that is meant for all players is useless to me personally" complaint is a tad pointless. If you manage to find something useless for everyone - that would be interesting.

My main has all 9 traits in everything researched, but thanks to a stockpile of scrolls, it didn't take forever to get my second toon to learn 8 traits (9 for jewelry). I've no patience for intention of starting another character, but juuuust in case things change I save all scrolls and riding lessons that come my way. It's free stuff and it's nice to know the rewards can be useful to many people.
