A few days ago I would have said Blackreach. I love just wandering around down there and seeing what new sights are around the next corner, especially the caverns under the Reach.

However I did the Moongrave Fane dungeon for the first time yesterday and was completely blown away by how stunning the outside areas were - the vivid colours and the sense of height I experienced. Cant wait to do another run of the dungeon. Recently completed the quests in the Elsweyr zones for the first time too and the areas around Ashen Scar and the Aqueduct gave me similar feelings.

The world design team is doing an amazing job 😍

This is a weird thing to make a poll, since there's so many options and opinions to describe an area that resonates with a player.

I honestly really enjoy the art direction for all zones, and I find that most zones are very well curated by their creators. I prefer marshlands and grasslands as biomes, personally, but I really do find most areas in ESO to be quite striking. I also feel that given the objectively smaller maps which ESO uses, it is made up for by their well-crafted biomes to give the impression of a much, much larger area. You can see hand crafted examples very periodically by the visual story telling that the level designers use to add further non-interaction engagement. Level design is one thing the ZOS team is doing very well on, despite all other (potential) controversies.

    Edit: Grammatical error.

Graven Deep. The view from the huge underwater windows, with the tower holding the weather control device looming ominously, and then the walk on the ocean floor that let you see the dwarven installation from the outside. Probably the most visually impressive dungeon in the game.

Without a doubt - it is Murkmire.

And the reason for it is quite simple. Back in the day, when I was playing TES III Morrowind, I was amazed by the "never seen before" world, with wierd gigantic mushrooms. It was almost alien-looking world, and yet it worked in a fantasy setting and managed to create a unique atmosphere. Something that I have never seen before.

Somehow, Murkmire managed to do the identical thing. The odd looking swampland with weird plants and glowing stuff, mixed with old ruined Xanamers... it was again something unique that worked in fantasy setting that created a unique atmosphere. Something that I have never seen before.

    The aurora borealis in Skyrim/Reach
My real home land has much of high mountain and forest.
And also much of snow in the winter. So, Skyrim fauna is very familiar
for me. Unfortunately, the wolf were extinct. Can't meet that animal anymore
    in my land.
    My playing time Mon-Friday UTC13:00-16:00 [PC-NA] CP over2000 now.
    I have [1Tough tank] [1StamSorc-DD] [1Necro-DD] [1Real Healer]

But, I'm Tank main player. Recently I'm doing Healer.

    Dragons of Elsweyr
Voted for Elsweyr, though not so much because of the dragons but because of the landscape. Especially Southern Elsweyr. Senchal remains my favourite ESO-original city, its central plaza with the palace is such a thing of beauty.

Honorable mentions go the Summerset coastline (especially the area around Corgrad and Lillandril), Moongrave Fane dungeon and, oddly enough, the Mistral docks. I've always loved that area.

That said, I love the landscapes and architecture in this game in general. Excepting perhaps the Daedric plains, I enjoy exploring all of them and it one of the main reasons I continue to play.

the first time I saw the lush valley in the southern part of Northern Elsweyr where the moon sugar farms are, it was early morning (in game) and the sunrise with that area design was the most beautiful place I've seen in this game so far.

I also think Murkmire is very beautiful, especially with music turned on. Very few zones in this game have proper ambient music, as in, music without angelic choir and loud cymbals etc while just walking through town.

Skyrim for sure but the fargrave out of bounds areas with the giant skeletons are really something. Reminds me of that sea monster you would see on Titan in destiny 2. Just something that makes you wonder what else is out there

    Blackreach
So much of this game is absolutely gorgeous. I've had a lot of complaints about mechanical issues, but I've never once had a complaint about the visual effects and artwork in this game. That department never seems to disappoint.

For me, Blackreach took my breath away, but also parts of Summerset, the aurora in various maps, some of the overland quest boss fights like in Elsewyr, the Harrowstorms, and many of the 4 man dungeon instances. You can tell a lot of love and pride goes into that work.

Too many to count, and most of them aren't even among the choices offered.

The last couple of nights I spent some time running around Northern Elsweyr again, and visited several areas I hadn't seen in a long time, which brought back a lot of memories from when I was questing through that zone. It's such an amazing zone to me-- not at all the kind of place I'd ever want to live in (you can almost taste the dust in your mouth and feel the sand in your eyes), but so stunningly beautiful in its own way, and so well done.

However, I love all of the zones, and really can't pick a favorite. There is so much to see everywhere if you take your time and explore every nook and cranny. A lot of the time it's so easy to miss things because you're on your way somewhere and don't want to slow down for a leisurely look-see at something interesting, but if you do then that can lead you to something else, then something else, and so on.

I was really taken aback with some pocket planes we've seen throughout the stories, such as: the Coloured Rooms, the Mage's staff in Craglorn, the Sload's mindscape, the Ayleid Nexus gates in Murkmire, the Jonelight path, and last but not least, the Shimmering Sands. I'm also partial to the CwC, the Arkthkzand Caverns, and Hircine's realm in March of Sacrifices, I think the biomes there are very pretty, as well as the Evergloam. If I had to choose one, it'd be the Shimmering Sands with the sleeping dragon, followed by the Arkthzand Caverns.

Too many to choose from, but some of my favorites include Khenarthi's Roost, Betnikh, and the Reach. The auroras are nice when they come out as well, so I would love to see if they ever create Whiterun or Winterhold (although I wouldn't expect it so soon after Greymoor).

I didn't vote because there are a lot of places that make me stop and take in the scenery. I love rugged landscapes like you find in the Reach. The architecture of Leyawiin, the pretty areas in Auridon and Summerset, the greenery in Galen and the High Isle zones. Really, most of the zones in this game are stunning.
