Lady Thorn Still Flying in Air Bug

PC/NA. We are not doing the hardmode, but this glitch has ruined all 3 times we have tried to just get the No Death for achievements, and because she doesn't die, we can't loot for double drops either. I can't find a recent thread for this specific bug for Lady Thorn. I feel like this bug has been around for a long time though.
