I almost never use the Imperial I paid for. So, I don't think others getting it for free would make me change my mind.

Imperial is perfect tank class

It's also one of few races you can have typical black skin tone.

The key for me is, that my criteria to play a race is purely aesthetic. So if it would have to be purchased, I would want a test creation prior to purchasing. I will never take the risk to pay blindly for a new race, not knowing before if I can create a toon I like or not. Once tested, if I can create a nice toon, then yes, I would pay for the race.
If cost free, then it would be easier, because I could without second thought abandon the race if I can't create a toon I like.

I paid for the upgrade from the beginning, and have a stunningly beautiful Imperial character, so yes, absolutely. I like pretty characters, so I only play humans and elves... especially Bosmer in ESO, they're so small and cute! 😉

I bought the imperial edition when the game launched, I don't think I have any imperial characters at the moment.

I always played Imperials in the Elder Scrolls games (Morrowind, Oblivion, Skyrim).
When I started playing ESO in 2016 I was a bit irritated that I had to make a character I didn't want to play so I could get into the game and use the crown store to buy the Imperial edition. But I bought crowns, logged in, bought the package, logged out.
And then I finally started playing ESO - with an Imperial. He's my main character until today. The other two I have I only play very rarely, they are a Khajiit and... an Imperial.

So of course I'd still use the Imperial race (and the Imperial mount, and the Imperial style) if they were free. And I'd be happy to see other players receive it all without having to pay for it.

Imo imp is my go to race , I love it. I don't need a tail or pointy ears to enjoy the game. I have multiple tank and stam DPS characters , 8 slots , 7 imp and one Breton healer xD.

Bought Imperial Edition ages ago. Used mount for many years. None of my 19 characters is Imperial.
