My PC craches everytime I try to log in now.

Not just to character select or anything like that.

I mean, it completely crashes - I have to start the whole thing (my PC) up again.

It's getting pretty tiresome, to be honest, and it doesn't happen with anything other than ESO. Takes me about half an hour to "get lucky" and log in.

I am a true blue fan - totally devoted - been playing for 6 years and spent thousands of dollars here. Truth be told, I play no other game.

But seriously, this is all getting too much, even for me.

How do you mean, does the whole PC freeze, or does it restart?

Either way. If any of that happens, it is most likely a driver or settings issue. Make sure to repair your gamefiles from the launcher and turn off all add-ons, just in case to rule those out. Re-install your GPU drivers, turn off multithreading and AA in-game, maybe lower some other graphics settings and see if any of that helps.

Make sure there are no issues being highlighted in devicemanager. A sound issue could cause this, for example.

Try all of these suggestions one-by-one, so you can find out what the exact issue was.

PS: Only after you have tried everything else: **Let a professional do this!** Take a look at your BIOS drivers and update those if needed.**Let a professional do this, as this can brick your entire PC if it goes wrong.**

Thank you for taking the time to respond to my post.

Yep, my whole PC crashes... restarts. Not just a CTD.

I have updated all drivers, I have repaired more than once, I have disabled addons. It's only started happening since the update... and it only happens with ESO. If I don't launch the game then my PC works perfectly.

Luckily, at the moment, everything seems to be ok but who knows. The last time I managed to log in, it worked for a day and then started crashing again.

I agree that I should let a professional look at it - I have zero clue when it comes to these things and would definitely make things worse.

Amyway, thank you again. I really do appreciate your insight.

    I finally discovered my problem.

A couple of mornings ago, I spent five hours trying to log in... crashing every single time. I updated everything... repaired until even I was beyond repair.

I came across this as a fluke but for some reason, my Minion started playing games with me. It stopped working... getting an error message of not being able to connect to the internet. Again, I tried updating, reinstalling, running as admin... and still nothing.

Finally I just decided to delete Minion completely and what do you know, no more crashing!

I guess I just have to manage my addons manually from now on.

Maybe this might help someone else.
