The event is in four zones.
    • Western Skyrim
    • Blackreach: Greymoor
    • The Reach
    • Blackreach: Arkthzand

As it is just the first day of the event, it's completely understandable that most players are rushing to get their goodies. Especially since the "do a Holiday quest" endeavor is back up. As the event goes on, things will thin out a bit.

Actually, I'd say that it's in more than four zones, because of the way those zones are divided up. For instance, Blackreach: Greymoor is really a series of smaller zones which are connected together.

That said, what I've been noticing for the last several weeks-- starting about the time that Firesong and U36 went live-- is that PC NA seems to be running a lot worse than PC EU is. For instance, the load screens on PC NA when going from one zone to another have been much longer on PC NA than on PC EU-- at least, that's been my experience. (I play on both servers every single day.) And sometimes the NPCs and objects in the environment load in so slowly that it can take longer than a minute for them to load-- and often they don't load in until I do a reloadui because I've been waiting a few minutes for a given NPC to appear but it looks (after nearly five minutes) like they aren't going to appear.

To be honest, I keep remembering back to a time (last year? two years ago?) when (IIRC) something similar was happening after an update and they eventually figured out that there were hardware issues causing it-- I forget the specifics, but I think it was something hardware-related. However, I've been hesitant to mention that, and I'm not trying to suggest that it's happening again, because I don't want to mislead anyone down the wrong path of troubleshooting IYKWIM.
I've fought mudcrabs more fearsome than me!

Worked fine for me. But I guess it depends how many ppl show up for a Harrowstorm or boss. Elsweyr is a nightmare for the dragons during that event.

Just like in galen at the vents, harrowstorms are a dead loss at primetime the boss wont even render in. Learnt that quickly and came back later in the day when there were less people around, its really good in so many ways then!😁

Yeah it's pretty bad. I have yet to actually see a boss. I just throw down aoes so that it at least registers a hit so I get the drops.... Not very fun.
