You have to slay Niras Adrys, the Pale Worm from Bloody reunion quest.
He will stuck at 0% and will don't die.

EDIT: Okay someone taunted him and pulled away for reset, after it it works.

That's not really a bug, it's just that people keep spamming him with attacks so fast that there isn't time for him to register as being dead.

Another bug is that Mel will say it is complete even if you haven't got there yet but others have killed him in the vicinity. However, it does not complete the quest.

I spammed in chat for all to stop attacking, so a tank could taunt him and reset him.. Then for all to use light attack. It actually worked, and we were all able to defeat him.

This tells me events like this should be run a week or too later so they are less crowded, yet still have enough to defeat bosses.

ZOS should've let this boss be in his own solo area. WAAAAYYY too many ppl standing around and glitching this pale worm guy out. This event quest can be easily ruined by too many ppl consistently coming and going. I hope they learn to create solo portals like they have for other main quests at times, but sadly solo portals/areas aren't utilized often enough.

It was nice to catch up with Mel and get some personal history and stories, but do we really need to have him reminding us to meet him at the campsite after each harrow storm is completed?

Agreed. I gave up last night, so I couldn't finish his quest. Good thing we didn't have to rely on this to get an event ticket!

I wish I could find it amusing, but it just kind of disgusts me. So many players are so grotesquely overpowered in this game, and they have less than zero respect for anyone besides themselves during these sorts of events when it cones to killing a world boss. It's the same with dolmens and harrowstorms, where you can't even go from the wayshrine to the dolmen or harrowstorm immediately after it becomes active and get there before everyone has burned through everything in mere seconds. I think it's gross-- but that's just my opinion.

Part of it is powercreep and part of is the nature of a zerg in an mmo. Dolmens have most likely been powercrept don't know how hard they were on release. Harrowstorms have the problem of reverse difficulty where its harder the worse you do. Dragons are probably the best insurgent event in this game despite a few issues I have with them but even then they fall to a zerg.

They have to make the bosses/event tuned specifically for a zerg of like 20+ people where the boss can kill tanks in like 3 hits or something. A zerg of players will make any challenge of a world boss completely null.

I can see this being a point of disscusion for those in the "Overland is too easy" camp, as seeing 30+ players happily zerg down a dolmen/WB/Dragon/Harrowstorm/Abyssal Geyser is an all too common occurrence.

Well, players farming it during event. Personally... if I don't like some activities... I simply ignore them.

It had glitched when I went there, and I was saying both via /z and /y for people to quit attacking it and either run away or die to reset the fight, because it was at zero health and was invincible.

Despite this, a good 10 people kept attacking, because of course as we all know, if attacking a zero-health invincible boss for 10 minutes doesn't kill it, attacking it for 15 minutes will.

    Oh wait.

This is possibly the 2nd most poorly designed quest ever (first is goblin quest in Cyrodill where your only choice is murder someone because of bigotry) . You have a long quest chain and your only hope of completion is to get 100 people to agree to back off and let the boss reset.

I noticed that just as soon as I started doing harrowstorms in the Reach on day 1 of the event.
I didn't make it from the Ragnvald site when it ended to Witchborne (which are fairly close together) before WItchborne was done.
So I just stayed at Witchborne. It was only a few minutes before the rotation made it back around to Witchborne again, they were getting cleared so fast.
