Elder Scrolls Online Is Canon to the Elder Scrolls Universe.

During the 2nd Era all Horses back left leg looks like this like this when walking slowly :

That has been 8 years in the game... 8 years... I don't see it as a bug anymore, Could it be the Art direction?

What are your thoughts on the lore behind it?

Maybe a curse was put by the crazy cheese Mad God himself?

This is a good mystery but I'm more interested in the mechanisms behind people running atop their horses. 🤔 Bug or homage to Skyrim?

The horse breeders of Tamriel in the 2nd Era had never actually seen a horse before. When Daedra came to Tamriel in the form of what they thought horses looked like the horse breeders just accepted it as normal. When Tiber Septim eventually relit the dragon fires all the daedra horses were banished and he rediscovered a hidden enclave of real horses hidden in the Imperial City dungeons.

You mean to say horses in real life don't twitch their back leg when walking? Huh.

I had to watch it twice to notice it at all. And that being said, I cannot think of one time when I have ever walked that slow on a horse.

The horses have issues with the "foot inverse kinematics" setting. If you can confirm that's the case for here, try leaving a /feedback or bug report.

I'm going with it being lore appropriate now.

"Horse's left back legs are Cursed?"

I know for sure that at LEAST 3 of my horses back left legs are amputations from the front of another beed.
