Companions and their responses

I have a little request that hopefully wont be that hard to implement...
Can you prevent the companion talking while an NPC is talking?
I'm running around with Isobel a lot and she is always saying a lot of things when I either have finished a quest or talking to someone she likes.
This can be annoying since there are two people talking at the same time making it hard to hear what either are saying.
I know that I can lower how frequent Isobel is responding to the environment but I still would like her talking now and then.
Sure, I could turn her off or disable her responses every time I think there is a risk of her talking while others are talking..

The best example is while doing the Galen main story where I talk to the alliance leaders often, Isobel will the also talk a lot and it can be a bit frustrating..

so do this:
if NPC(InRange) = Talking then
Isobel = Mute
end if

    Yes! They really should give quest/story dialogue priority over the "random" comments!

    While this would be nice, I always have the companions set to the lowest frequency setting, and still hear them all the time. Might be worth turning it down just while questing, too.
