Upgrade the Necromancer Class

The Necromancer has the worst spamming ability in the game. Remove or change the Flame Skull skill. It also has several passive skills only for specific content.

Death Knell's passive ability grants a bonus to crit chance at 25% of the enemy's health. I go to warden and get +24 crit bonus just by having 6 skills on the bar or 12-16 by having 3-4 skills. There is a difference??? Why does a necromancer have such a dibly passive skill just for the boss??? What is this balance? You literally gave a skill to one enemy type....

The passive ability Death Gleaning grants the restoration of resources at the expense of the deaths of opponents. The most useless crap from the necromancer. Why does he need more resource regeneration if he has two skills that allow you to restore resources, as well as skills that reduce costs and a bonus to restore 200 units. And by the way, the necromancer still has no advantage in restoring resources compared to other classes. Why a bunch of skills and passive abilities to restore resources and reduce resource costs ??? I don't understand explain me to such a fool. Why does a dk have 3 skills and a necromancer has 100500+ skills and at the same time loses in terms of restoring dk resources...

Why does the necromancer have a bonus to periodic damage if he only has two skills that are used only in pve ??? I certainly know there are damage based builds for pvp but you literally say that I should play pve and pvp at the expense of periodic damage. I want only direct damage??? For example, in pvp I don't use builds for periodic damage and just do I don't like to play necromancers in close combat, but for some reason they force me to do it. Play how you want??? Yeah how...

It's funny, I started to see necromancer archers and melee through marselock... But even the best necromancers lose to dk warden or even more so nb.

But now the dumbest skill in the game.

Two crowd control skills are only for PvE focus and rarely used by any Necromancer in his PvP. And if you use it, then such necromancers do not live for a long time ...

The necromancer, like all klaas, has 18 active skills. In the first branch of skills, three are used; in the second, four; in the third, all six, but 3 of them are very narrowly focused. So I count only 3. And out of 18 skills, the necromancer uses ten skills in most cases .... Of these, only three attacking and 0 control ... Gorgeous class. Don't say anything...

Necromancer - stillborn class

I do not think that the necromancer is weak. He makes a good bomber and melee due to periodic damage, however, in general, he loses to all other classes. Where the necromancer is good, there is another class with a similar build only better. Close combat dk and bomber nb. Healer Warden or Plar. There are several more such examples. Archer necromancer loses to sorcerer, ranged magical necromancer loses to plar, nb and sorcerer. And also warden... And in the latest patch, the ghost restores 1000 health every 2 seconds .... I have tears when I look at this ghost restoring 1000 health. Just a very good assistant for both my teammates. After all, they really need 1000 health .... Or rather, one of them.

    I think your last paragraph hits the nail on the head - Necro is by no means underpowered, but it's shoehorned into a very select few kinds of builds. They have to outsource much of their offensive kit to weapon lines because they have a terrible spammable and, although they're supposed to be the "DoT" class, they have exactly two DoTs, neither of which are sticky (also important to note that the Skeleton Mage/Archer are not damage over time abilities - they count as direct damage and yet they received a 50% stealth nerf in U35).

    They also lack in bar space because they are the only class in the game to not have an on demand stun nor a source of Major Sorcery/Brutality. Furthermore, despite two of their passives focusing on crit chance, they do not have a source of Prophecy/Savagery.

    They don't need very many changes, but they absolutely need something. Ideally, they could use a total rework of their spammable and access to either Sorcery/Brutality or Prophecy/Savagery. An on demand stun would be nice too as again, they are the only class in the game without one.

    Editing to add this: IMO pets should also be allowed to proc sets. There's no reason in today's meta that Sorc and Necro pets shouldn't be able to proc sets - especially considering as necro's main bread and butter damage ability (Blastbones) won't proc anything.

    Seriously, this really bugs me.

    The class has a lot of issues; and seems to have been designed around engaging target dummies. The corpse-based mechanics are interesting, but don't function well in any PVE content with lots of movement.

    The pets, including BB, don't proc sets, don't count in BG scores, and don't seem really integrated with how the game works.

    BB _still_ will fail to function frequently enough to be noticeable, especially in PVP.

    You can't fire BB up/down keep walls, making the skill useless in a huge percentage of locations where fights actually occur in Cyro.

    No major sorcery/brutality, even after ZOS added those buffs to just about anything... No usable stun. No usable DOT. No execute. Garbage spammable. ZOS has already started nerfing the class, so it won't get better for 12-18 mos.
