i would personnally like to see more of wood elves....
like above mal tor and reapers a new zone could be added that runs from the eastern most corner of gold coast to about where castle brindle would be in cyrodiil..
i imagine it would be heavilly forested and less swampy or jungly(?) than mal tor.. and overall a pretty chill place with lots of normal rather than exotic wildlife in which the wood elves would thrive basically...
as for story idk it would also have to be pretty chill... like nothing too over the top and maybe it can even be a fun adventure to uncover some magical secrets or something for someone as the main quest.... also would be a good time for spellcrafting

    New map.

Either Akavir or Thras are fine, preferably Akavir. Then tie-in to the Tamriel map. If Thras, exploring dwemer flying machines to get to their floating hideouts would be nifty, maybe bring Yagrum Bagarn into the spotlight.

There's a reason the EP had to deal with Akavir and it has everything to do with positioning. What if they traveled east and hit the AD or DC side of Tamriel though? Or better yet, they went east with the intention of conquering Tamriel and discovered something unknown that decimated their forces, then that unknown thing went further east- through the shattered continent of Yokuda- and found Tamriel? America was found because they wanted a shorter route to the far east, the same sort of thinking applies here.

If you want more Bosmer, Grahtwood is just a Wayshrine away- there's a cannibalism quest already in-game where they explore why it was done and why it is limited... but a whole new land has so much potential that the rest of the map of Tamriel can wait.

Falinesti. Allow me to convince you.

    Bosmer themed,
New ground not tread in previous titles,
Interesting mystery inherent to the existence of the city itself,
    Rajin as an antagonist, potentially

Not sure what the chapter mechanic would be. Doubtful it'd be spellcasting. Maybe a bard class, to really move with the Y'ffre theme? Perhaps crossbows?

I know a lot of players are saying its gonna be Hammerfell but I want to know what ZOS plans on doing with all the empty patches between areas like Northern & Southern Elsweyr or Wrothgar and western Skyrim. Based off of Lore, Shadowfen and Murkmire should be touching, so what going to happen in that empty patch?

OP, is there a link to that map you posted? Can't get the details on that map using a PC.

Nothern and southern Elsweyr is not touching because they did not want to include the large city in the middle who is larger than Rimmen and yes its a bit stupid.
Don't know why the area between western Skyrim and Wrothgar is not filled. but we have some other small areas like South of blackwood or east of Rift, might not fit in or being backup areas for more content like they having to use the small high isle for Breton content.

The area between Cyrodil and gold coast was in TES 4 Oblivion where Anvil was the western city.

I'm probably going to get a lot of disagreements from this, but I want more Black Marsh. Preferably with the writers who worked on Murkmire, as High Isle's writing wasn't anything special. Oh and for the chapter and zone dlcs to be separate contained stories. No more of this continuous storyline with 4 dungeons that have little-to-nothing to do with the actual overarching story.

The writing was great, the storyboarding needs help. I don't mind older characters making a reappearance for side quests, we're just tired of seeing them be part of our main story. Lyris, for example, is a great character, but let's stop reusing her- let her remain a great character and let's hear about her and Sai Sahan's exploits. I feel
bringing the leaders to high isle, hyping up those amulets over a prologue and series of like 8 quests and making the amulets not work then forcing the leaders to fight together were big mistakes which led to this weird anticipation of peace.

Murkmire was its own self-contained story, High Isle was an attempt at a reunion party of all of the starting zone leaders and ship captains without any daedric threat, but with more exploration/exposition as to the nature of the earth/nirn spirits- which are also responsible for the creation of the vestige/vestiges.

That land between Wrothgar and Western Skyrim is where the city of Jehanna proper should be (Horker Docks, or whatever nonsense they call it nowadays is too close to the proper location of the port city of Farrun where that Dragonknight in that one lore book is from). However, with the Year of the Bretons closing, it will be quite some years before ESO visits it.

The area between Cyrodil and gold coast was in TES 4 Oblivion where Anvil was the western city.

I can only imagine they're gonna take that area between the Elsweyr's and have it be a Dungeon or 2 for a yearly Quarter. Same as the area between Wrothgar and Skyrim, but as the Forbidden Vale from Dawnguard Dlc-Skyrim.

As for the area East of The Rift, that's the Velothi mountains, which where based on all ESO maps, Skuldafn is sitting where Blacklight the capital of House Redoran is meant to be. (Zos Loremasters have stated that the maps are crud because "in-universe" cartographers made them, and Nords put more emphasis on Skuldafn than caring for Blacklight) So it'll be interesting if we ever see Blacklight in ESO outside of being yet another grand city reduced to a forced Hostility zone. I was just thinking today about how Falinesti would be an amazing place for a new chapter. Delve in to what happened, where it is and the Wild Hunt, maybe something to do with the primordial Mundus etc. etc. Plus that means new architecture, furnishings, motifs for the Bosmer who have basically nothing past the base game.

The area you are talking about is actually part of cyrodill, county Skingrad to be specific. Outside of the great forest (which might be part of county Chorrol, don't actually remember) it's fairly devoid of trees, or at least it is in oblivion. I would really like a zone made around skingrad though, as long as it's solely imperial focused, not a half and half like blackwood was.

I have been playing since the beginning, doing all DLCs, so I can say that at least for me, Argonians got enough attention with Murkmire and half of Blackwood, so their theme was touched quite recently. The only theme not touched for several years is Redguard. Yes, we had the Hew's Bane DLC, but that was 6 years ago.

Of course, we could go with something totally new, like outside Tamriel. However, I think there are enough themes in Tamriel which haven't been fleshed out enough yet.

I would also like to see a Cyrodiil 2.0 or a Cyrodiil like map in a different location. The PvP community hasn't got anything consistent in many years. Unfortunately this is unlikely, seeing how low priority is pvp for the current team.

My hopes are for a Redguard theme though..

yes the area is commonly known as that but assuming in the time of eso the borders looked different and this area could have had more trees and been occupied by the dominion during the war???

ik it is terrible to change something most people know but it might be possible that things just looked different at the time..

im not a lore expert so i cant say for sure if it is possible and it really is up to those poeple to say whether it is...

It probably isn't occupied considering the antagonistic faction you fight against in reapers march are imperial legionaries and mercenaries sent by the count of skingrad to annex the region. As for what it would look like at the time, it's probably closer to a cross between the gold coast and eastern reapers march.

Falinesti is probably a better option for a bosmer chapter since it's mentioned to be missing in game as is and it's home to the imga, a gorilla-like beast race that is meant to coexist in valenwood alongside the bosmer. They've never appeared in any tes game and it would be a cool way to introduce them.

IMO the Systres should have gone to the Redguards, if ZOS doesn't want to touch Hammerfell proper because of TES6. Jehanna would have been better for Bretons.

Years ago, Matt Firor said in an interview that they wouldn't touch on Falinesti because that's apparently Bethesda's turf. Too important for ESO to meddle with or something, who knows.

Huh, didn't know that. I knew that the dwemer and other continents were no-nos but I didn't think falinesti would be. Now I'm really curious what they'd do for bosmer content.

I actually think at this point they need to abandon Tamriel, possibly making how that happens the subject of an entire chapter (please, not another year long story -- just do a decent chapter and any other DLC should not attempt to stretch that out with filler).

Eg a mysterious bridge rises above the waves after a cataclysm or whatever.

It's becoming increasingly evident as the spaces left on the map become fewer that they are having to scrape the barrel for ideas because everything has already been done before. There's no room for creativity left and you can feel it; they are completely strangled by the lore.

I'd love to go to Falinesti even though Bosmer got a lot of attention in the AD zones. Plus, we would finally meet the Imga. The only issue is that Falinesti already has a return date in TES lore which is around late second era 2E 830... so in about 300 years.

Now you can argue/write that because it is in a place that is outside of time (most other planes of existence are) "we simply don't know WHEN it will return, just that you saved it."

You know what would be a nice change ?

Instead of main quest lines involving some evil major threat, or helping an NPC with their own quest, why not turn this around completely, and have a main quest line in which previously friendly groups turn on the Vestige ? In other words: the Vestige becomes the big bad. So the quest becomes not defeating the big bad, but instead finding a way to turn your new enemies into friends ?

I like the way you think. I think you could even keep the core challenge this dilemma represents, whilst changing the identity of the players, if that makes sense? With the right sort of writing, you could come up with new, interesting factions that mean just as much to the vestige, and therefore present just as much anguish or motivation, while treading new ground.
