If you don't want bugs, do the quests yourself.
This is the lesson my husband and I have learned after 3 years of playing.
We do the quests at the same time and close, but without being in a group.

Fantastic. We were able to do Greymoor prologues, all of Blackwood, the Deadlands, and all of High Isle, without these kinds of issues, while grouped.
Since this is the first time I've experienced this, and it's clearly not meant to be like this, I'm posting here.

I only had ONE character get through without major bugs that cause multiple relogs, drops and restarts, etc. Left such a bad taste in my mouth, I've not spent a cent in/on the game since then. That's only to say I can't confirm that Necrom may have similar issues, but I would say it's a safe bet. If you're one of the unlucky ones that roll the buggy version, you're outta luck.
