Head Markings on Vampire

I'd really like to see Head Markings at their full vibrancy even on vampire, even at stage 4.

Face paint doesn't get duller because of skin tone.

The head markings should be the same brightness & colour regardless of whether vampire is used or not.

Thank you.

We have been asking for this for many years and we are still waiting for it. :s

I still want to be able to not look like a vampire while being a vampire. Count Ravenwatch did it in Rivenspire so it is lore based.

Vampire's appearance is a skin, and like all skins save for a few select head markings like the lipsticks are layered above everything. This is why tattoos and stuff are faded on vampires since the vampire skin is a transparent white layer put on top of your character.

Also why Argonians and Khajiit are afflicted the same way as the races of men and mer going bleached white due to it. Only ways to fix it is to layer skins underneath the markings, or rework the vampire appearance to be an actual physical change.

On a side note, you CAN also put another skin over the vampire -- disguises also work on it.

I've not seen any skins that don't make you look like a monster or daedra; ignoring the fact that they are out of my reach of obtaining them.
Disguises remove all customisations and are not an option.

There're two skins roleplayers like myself use to 'hide' vampirism. The Maormer fish skin and the Arctic Rime Skin.

    https://en.uesp.net/wiki/Online:Maormer_Fish

The Maormer fish one is the better one, but only if you can use long hair and certain outfits to hide the scale patches on your body. The Arctic Rime skin makes you look pale and frosted, but it works from a distance.

There is the Blackmarrow Necromance but like the Maormer fish skin needs a lot of clothes and hair to hide, but it is like the vampire skin in that it makes you a bit paler, and it has it's own head markings and stuff so it's not the ideal choice compared to the other two.

And of course as you can well guess the Maormer and Arctic skins are located in Crown Crates... So it might take a while for them to return.

I'll also point out, while my stage 4 vampire, when I had him, could not use a vendor, my stage 4 vampire wearing the skeleton polymorph from Shadowfen could......

So, the NPC's are fine selling to a skeleton, and not wondering where he keeps the money or items... that undead is perfectly ok, but not one that looks mostly human. And if it's fear of the vampire, if that vampire wanted to eat you, I doubt he'd talk to you first, and try and do commerce.....
Seriously, if I was a shopkeeper, I'd NOT want to upset a talkative vampire by refusing him service...... if he's talking, he isn't biting...... pretty simple, there.

@Auldwulfe vendors also don’t have issues selling stuff to players using the werewolf polymorph 🤔

This one just goes to outlaws refuge for selling and repairs. Rawl is the quickest option if you own Sleek Creek.

It’d be nice to have vampires looking more mortal like Verandis. This one’s vampire character is trying to blend in to the society, not role play as an ash vampire :D

I use Rajhin's cat mask, but it doesn't fool the vendors. some how they still know I'm a stage 4 elf vampire...

Use Mesmerize to get the NPC venders to talk to you. Also the writ voucher merchants, and the merchants in the Outlaw Refuge, will talk to you to.

Mesmerize also works if a merchant won't talk to you if you have a high bounty. It causes all limitations to be lifted, but sadly won't work on non-merchant NPCs that have stuff to say. You'll have to drink a Purifying Bloody Mara, use a Basin of Loss in a player home, or wait 4 hours after drinking blood to lesson the stage.

I just went to shadowfen to get the skeleton polymorph; I still can't talk to merchants.
I don't talk to monsterous vampires! (even if they are cat mask wearing skeleton elflings!)
