How have you been using your double experience?

I've been using it to level my Companions. When I started Ember and Isobel we're both level 17, so I bought a couple of experience scrolls with seals and took them to Dragonstar Arena. Ember reached level 20 last night and Isobel is now level 19 and should reach 20 today. Arenas aren't my favorite things to do but it's been such a struggle leveling them that I couldn't pass up this opportunity.

I cleanup up all the master writs last night (worth 28 CP levels in total closing in on 1900 now) and plan to do some leveling for Ember and Isobel as well. between this event and the upcoming Hollowjack double XP event I should have them both maxed out as well

i do have 4 other characters, but in actual fact, I don't care about them too much. Just been playing my main and actually having fun without the worry of the grind.

I've just been enjoying what I've been doing without having to worry about anything... and getting a bonus.

Been mostly material farming in the overland. Might try and powerlevel one of those companions in Skyreach or something.

Normal DSA with an friend is an blast for leveling companions.
Invite guildmates on last boss for master weapons.

Was farming in Craglorn and is finishing the quest there as not done since its release and then it was an group quest.

I am farming materials. We will have another xp boost during upcoming witches event. Fun times for those farming xp!

I was doing dolmens in Alik’r to level 3 of my characters that need to get to 50.
I like how brain-dead that activity is for getting xp, even though it’s not the best way to level.

(Anyone out there on PC-NA that has spare glyphs or jewelry I could decon…. That would be lovely. @NeuroticPixels)

Until I realized farming would be a much better use of my time during the Explorer’s event. I’ll get my xp during the Witches Festival.

i got my 2nd acct ember from lvl 13 to 20 with like 4 normal dragonstar arenas

having ember out makes it even easier to let that acct camp out next to a delve boss farming plunder skulls for the witches festival lol

I would never waste my precious seals and crowns for something that can be easily bought with a small amount of gold.

But leveling companions is a good idea. I only have one and stopped using them after a few hours because i never liked how they behave in this game. Maybe it is time to give it another shot.

I used to level new characters, skillines and champion points, but i have not done that for a while because it is boring. Would be nice if double xp events could give you 5000% boost to magesguild, undaunted and psijic skillines too. Maybe even skyshards and horse training. Deleting a character and making a new one, just to keep up with changes to the game is such a waste of time and resources. I would love to just make a new char in 10 minutes and be able to play it. Without feeling pressured to waste the few years i have left, or real money (crowns) on something that feels like a chore in a video game.

Events and especially double xp events always felt like meaningless boring work to me. And i do not like pressure and "fear of missing out" in a game i want to play for fun and to relax. So most of the time i just stop playing during events because they make me feel manipulated and stressed out.

That's a 50% boost. The experience scrolls I bought were 150%.

aetherial ambrosia = 100%
mythic aetherial ambrosia = 150%

make sure you have the passive ability "connoisseur" (craft -> provisioning) activated to get an extra 20 minutes.

I've been leveling my xbox main and companion. I'm almost at level 50. Heh, had to take a break I find grinding xp tiring.

I had a lot of seals because they haven't had anything I want for quite awhile now. The seals didn't cost me anything so why not? And I wanted the 150% scrolls to spend as little time as possible in the Arena. It was well worth it to me.

i dont usually use xp scrolls often, so i have like piles of them stacked up in storage from daily logins

• ~400 50% scrolls
• some amount of 100% scrolls (not even sure cause i dont check often lol)
• ~20 150% scrolls

i also would never consider buying scrolls from the store either lol, but thats why its there, its an option for those who want it

during the explorers event double xp, it took me 4 runs of normal dragonstar with 150% scrolls to get my 2nd acct ember from lvl 13 to 20 (~1 hour per run), if i was starting from lvl 1, it would have taken maybe 5 or 6 runs total with the double xp + 150% scroll

I world never consider buying apex mounts or skins or markings or emotes or personalities with my seals because these are worthless to me. The experience scrolls helped me finish what was a tedious process of leveling my Companions and was well worth it to me.
