Hail from the sisterhood of Amazons! We are a casual to medium roleplaying guild of female avatar players. Our members enjoy being part of an active, fun and dedicated community. We've been around since 2008 founded in Age of Conan. We've played many MMO's since then and now settling into the Ebonheart Pact for The Elder Scrolls Online.
The Amazons are male and female players who appreciated strong, and positive female roles in games. We all enjoy playing as female avatars online. We don't judge, and we welcome diversity. We are a matriarchal led themed gaming community. We are mainly a PvP-RP guild since it fits our theme. We enjoy doing dungeon runs as a guild as well as player versus player. We enjoy casual RP that centers around our theme. A female character in a game who holds a sword or a stave and fights for what they believe in can be called an 'amazon'. It is a name that symbolizes our theme for one who rises above a society's/faction's standards, such a person will be welcomed in our guild with open arms. We are mainly NA and we welcome EU as well, we will have no race restrictions in the Amazons of Tamriel.

As Amazons we pride and nurture individuality but also independence as a warrior nation. We can easily look at our guild as our own faction within the Ebonheart Pact in terms of RP. Each nation has their own say within a council system called the Great Moot and none may act until all are in agreement. It does not influence our own Amazon politics. As a chaotic neutral people, we have no ties that binds us except to our community of sisters. We've stood back as a people and looked at the whole picture .. we see the good and bad in the world and later signed the Pact for our own intentions as an independent sisterhood nation and ultimately for our own survival against forces that would threaten us and our way of life. Amazons are well known survivors against all adversity. The Ebonheart Pact was created for survival.
We are a secluded society, some have mistaken us to be good and noble, but ours is a nation forged by war. Akin to the Nord we relish combat, and like the Argonians, we are fiercely loyal to our lands and each other. We are also a safe haven for women from all races who have been scarred by war. This makes us apprehensive to trust new people, but when we do we are loyal and unwavering ... until that trust is betrayed. They are 'marked'. Amazon fury will befall them and the Hunt will begin. As always proving to those who dare not appreciate female strength the error of their ways, whether or not they are friend or foe. A person who befriends an Amazon should feel most fortunate, as they will have a lifetime friend. The game forces us to be in a faction, but it does not define our existence as sisters and as a people.

Most of us in the Amazon Tribal council are spirit travellers. We worship the moonlit night. We are the Amazon dead guided by our own goddess the Raven Queen, we are reborn in mortal bodies and later reawakened by her. We go from world to world and give sisters shelter, those who have suffered through war and the hands of man. There is a common ground for all of us though, all of us feel a spark and this drives us to fight, we are not a shelter for battered women; we are a shelter for those who still have that will to fight. We hear the call of Amazonia and we answer it.

As an Amazon nation we have always excelled at keeping our way of life and tribes hidden from the outside world. In Tamriel we call the Black Marsh home. It has a habitat that suited us best, swamp forest. The native inhabitants and the handful of other native tribes of man leave us well enough alone. Here we are free to hunt and live. Wearing the hides of our kill some people have mistaken us to be a completely different humanoid race (hint).
We signed the Pact to keep our way of life from those who may seek to change it.
Avid gamers who would fit in well with us would be the following:
- Any level is accepted as long as you play regularly several nights per week
- Gamers who enjoy PvP / Casual to Medium RP & PvE content (no eRP)
- Be willing to join our guild with a main female toon as per our theme
- Mature and friendly people who can be civil on voice chat and respectful in game
- Gamers who understand game mechanics and their roles (but yet are willing to help teach others)
- People who engage others and love being a part of a community that is supportive and helpful
- Lastly, people who know that being in a good community means more than gear
