Random temporary damage output in dungeons

A few weeks back I was in a pickup group doing a normal dungeon and noticed that my damage output...all sources - light/heavy and any casting was all reduced...by alot. Like in the hundreds instead of thousands. It was taking a lot longer to kill normal adds and any of the bosses were quite difficult. This morning, again, the same thing happened. Not sure if it was jut me or if all of the characters were experiencing the same issue...seemed like one character in particular was OK, but couple of us were really having a hard time. I've been doing at least one dungeon daily and sometimes 2 to 4, and I don't notice it all the time, just random every once in awhile. Anyone else?

    just wondering, but have you read the patch notes for U35 (the lost depths dlc update)? lol

    there were a lot of nerfs in that, especially to sticky dots

    What dungeon?

    There are a few dungeons that have specific boss mechanics that severely limit player damage if you don't follow them correctly.

    For example, the shephard boss in FG2. If you kill the adds, the boss takes forever to kill as your damage done to it goes way way down.

    Thanks Necrotech Master, however, this is not a nerf or permanent damage reduction....just something random that I've noticed maybe in like 3 dungeons in the last 30 to 60 days. For instance if a heavy attack or cast like crystal shards was doing 2k damage a hit normally, when I experienced this it was like 210 damage or 150 damage. So yeah, not a nerf from a patch...just ridiculously low damage output. Also, not that it matters, but sometimes depending on what other animations are being cast by other players, my lightning staves will not trigger light or heavy...and I have to resort to strictly casting abilities for a few 10 seconds or so.

    And thanks also jaws343, wasn't FG2, and wasn't confined to a particular boss with particular mechanics. Was entire dungeon all enemy targets. Most recently was the Cauldron and I believe before that might have been IceReach...and before that possibly Spindleclutch I. Again, random, and just a few times in the past 60 days, but definitely difficult since my toon was striking like a Level 1 for damage output.
