Things I’d like to see in 2023

    Story mode for dungeons is absolutely a must have feature!!! If ZOS is worried about people not grouping for dungeons, they can easily make story mode completable just once per character and only solo (with companion), so if you want to run the same dungeon again, you have to group.

    I havent quit the game completely and most likely never will until it dies or there is something better on the horizon, but not having an option to complete story in order (skipping DLC dungeons after prologues) is really making me not want to play it so often :(

    Able to cook whilst in werewolf mode.

    This one’s “son”, named Sammy’s Diplomatic Success (long story involving Riguert and a troll), was so successful diplomaticking in The Rift that he caught Sanies Lupinus one night.

    SDS took it in his stride with the affliction, but became distraught when trying to cook in werewolf form: “Your paw is too clumsy.” What! How can SDS picks locks as werewolf but unable to hold a ladle? What heinous logic?!?!

    Please give werewolves more functionality. Please. SDS just wants some pie.

    Low priority and agree with pretty much everything suggested so far but I think dungeon bosses as house guests would be cool. They could be available for purchase once you have done the trifecta achievement for that dungeon. It would add some spice to peoples houses XD

    @ZOS_Kevin just throwing some ideas out there for the future as I now 2023 has already been developed and decided and at this point is finishing up and cleaning up last bits of work at this point most likely, if you could pass along it would mean a lot, thanks in advance.
    -undo U35
    -more mount species (not the reskins)
    -magika morphs for weapons
    -new weapons (crossbow, one hand spear, two handed pole arms such as pike, halberd etc.)
    -class quest lines
    -class outfit styles
    - pick and extra class skill line out of a select number of extra skill lines for class specialization
    - new were-species (were bear, werecroc, were lion, etc)
    - new races such as maomer, etc.
    - make races "cosmetic" and player choose their 4 racial passives
    - more body-morphism diversity at character creation menu (high elves are the tallest, orcs most muscular, wood elves most short, no pregnancy options for female characters, why? why can't I have a high-elf as short as a wood elf, or a high-elf as chubby as the maxed out fat version of an orc? its an mmoRPG, let me role-play"
    - solsthiem, whiterun, downstair, colovian highlands, spiralskien, skingard, roscea (longshot....AKAVIR!)
    - more atmoran/akaviri lore
    - npc romances
    - battle-royale pvp mode (50 players in the same zone, last man standing wins top prize, no groups allowed, everyman for himself)
    - normal trial finder
    - new classes (longshot, I know)
    - outfit style reminiscent of General Tulles from TES5
    - PHONEAPP FOR TALES OF TRIBUTE linked to our eso account
    I could go on forever, I'll edit this reply if I think of more, this was just all off the top of my head

    What ever happened to spellcrafting? I havent forgot about it, i saw the video of @ZOS_MattFiror discussing spell crafting from years ago!
    Also more polymorphs, and an outfit style/costume reminiscent of General Tullius’ armor from TES5:Skyrim

    Survey map asisstant who collects your survey maps in a specific amount of time depending how many you give the NPC to collect.

    Our group's, independent, take on this idea:
    You give the assistant a limited number of maps (a zone's worth maybe (6 - 18)).
    They disappear for a while (account-wide cooldown : you can't summon them).
    Either:
    1. You get a mail with the materials and some commentary - like a hireling.
    2. They accost you (think Stuga) when you enter the next city after the cooldown, to give you your materials.

    Harvesting benefits from CP determined by the character that uses them (gave them the maps).
    Obviously they can handle themselves and don't die to nearby adds.

    1) Furniture Storage like the Craft Bag. (ESO Plus required)
    2) 3 new house guests, Ember's friends.
    3) New class (Druid perhaps?)
    4) new/expanded playable races (Khajiit)
    5) Companion Faces that track with your rapport, Mirri is still scowling at me even if my rapport with her is maxed (5500) and Bastion still looks at one of my characters the same even if his rapport is -3700+
    Of all the things I have lost, I miss my mind the most...

    I just want ZOS to be open to revisiting and iterating on older systems. Please stop adding half-baked new systems every year and flesh out all the ones you already have please; thanks.

    - Lower cooldown on invis potions

    What I want to see soon, from highest priority to lowest:

    1. New appearances and sounds for conjured pets for the sorcerer class. The textures are now entirely outdated and ugly and need an urgend overhaul. Same goes for the sounds associated to them.
    2. A class modification token. It could be expensive and could come with a fall back of character level to one as an additional penalty. I would be fine with it.
    3. A new druid class. While the guardian class could be more oriented towards animal manipulation, the druid class could be oriented towards plant and tree manipulations. This however only in combination with nr. 2
    4. The compagnons from other players should get a random face. I dislike to see tens of Isobel or Bastian clones.

    - Dailies in each vanilla zone, with unique rewards (daily for world bosses, and dailies in the outlaw refuges that include things like pickpocketing, safe boxes, etc. in the zone)
    - A reward for completing a set in set collections, like a house item (mini-statue, painting, etc), that coincides with the set. I was thinking maybe a display plaque on a stand with a readable story about the set?

    That should be once per character per *story*, because some dungeons host multiple quests.

    - No more newer pets unless I can do something with them. (make harvest, or something)

    - Allow companions to enter your houses so you can give them items to equip

    - Roaming bosses in each land. It's awesome in Deadlands and would like to see it everywhere else.

    - Need more passives in the CP trees. I'm maxed.

    - Endeavors need to make more fun.

    - Maybe a name change token offered free every once in awhile.

    - More hairstyles and multiple head markings at same time, i.e. makeup and domino mask. Not just one or the other.

    - More housing availability, building components, furnishings. Need items like spigots with flowing water, instead of using the Alinor fountain, etc., yeah it's getting creative,but need simpler items.

    - Also put furnishings in separate bag like craft bag.

    - Make the map more zoomable on console!!!

    You know what else I need to see for Xbox. Because I don't know if it's the same for PC, but when you're in the Outfit station, and in the Dye tab, it doesn't tell you what current color you're wearing. I need labels.

    And I refuse, refuse, to pay 1500 crown for an outfit slot to save it.

    I dont see much happening combat wise in 2023 considering ZOS’s most recent statements about performance, hardware, re-architecture, etc.
    We’ll mist likely get new story content and zones, thats it.
    Having said that some zones would be really cool to see. And i can think of some cool storylines that could be put in game

    Just piggy-backing off of this - totally support vanilla zone dailies. I also think there should be dailies for FG and MG for each zone, just to get some use out of those buildings.

    • Delves to be Instanced...really tired of Griefers standing around waiting for the Boss to spawn so the can insta kill it
    • The ability to change Server instance Also tired of Bunny Hoppers Following you everywhere you go

    If we can have these I'll have zero complaints aside from the terrible A.I.

    Deeper animal husbandry and gardening. I want something to nurture.

    Better item slot to space ratio in houses.

    More solo arenas.

    Combat pet skins.

    Buff magsorc.

    Give horses the aesthetic improvements they deserve.

    Also give werewolves the aesthetic improvements they deserve.

    More armor/outfit variety.

    I'd like for Vazbi to get a job (or SOMETHING) in Rimmen where she feels comfortable so she doesn't sound so desperate if I sent her there instead of leaving her at the Aqueduct. There is nothing more upsetting than suddenly hearing the desperation in her voice when she calls out, "My friend!" and seeing how she is standing away from everyone, wringing her paw hands and obviously ill-at-ease. Once I saw how she really felt, I wished I'd left her at the Aqueduct, or at least had the opportunity to give her some further help so she would be happier.
