Magdk with two daggers

Hi all,

I am thinking about creating a new magdk with an inferno staff back bar and two daggers instead of another staff on front bar. My question is which traits should I be using for the daggers?

    Nirnhoned main hand, precise or charged off hand. I think more people use charged but I wouldn’t be able to tell you why, hopefully someone else can comment.

    Higher probability of applying the burning and poisoned status effects, both of which trigger the combustion passive, restoring magicka and stamina.

    Awesome, so nirn and charged will be the best options then.

    Nirn/Charge is pretty established meta for a proper raid or on trial dummy. Are their situations where precise pulls ahead in a less optimal group? Potentially, but I wouldn't over think it.

    I actually like that setup on my DK, DW/Inferno. It wont beat DW/2H in raw damage, but I like having a staff for multiple reasons. Because whip is melee, you dont lose much in terms of range flexibility with daggers on your front bar.

    Double charged is better on ZenDK because of the uptimes for the burning and poison status effects. Otherwise every class is pretty standard with Nirn main fire enchant and charged off poison enchant. What helps pull nirn in front of precise is the additional damage from fighters guild passive you will get by slotting trap and dawnbreaker on your front bar.

    Slaughter and Ruffian will increase your damage of light/med/heavy attacks to CC'ed/execute range targets.

    Dual Wield Expert gives like 60 damage from your offhand, a bit more if you end up getting a Gold Weapon on offhand, but it's very minor, make sure your main is Gold first for like 300 damage.

    Twin Blade and Blunt is a no brainer.

    Only 1 not worth it is Controlled Fury, unless you happen to run Deadly Cloak/Quick Cloak.
