I assume it would be connected to the companion achievements like an achievement furnishing? With account wide achievements there shouldn't be any need to grind rapport again just for the furnishing. I'm not sure how it works currently with the High Isle companions because I've only done Ember's quests on one character. Do you get more than one version of the letter or is it just the one per account?

It's such a puzzling thing to have not been thought of.

They're regular furnishings, so they don't go to the collections tab.NotaDaedraWorshipper wrote: »

I remember I completed vet Imperial City Prison before furnishing were added. I didn't retroactively get a Lord Warden bust after housing became a thing. I have a feeling finding a solution for the players who already went through the grind won't be that simple. Maybe the devs already considered this and chose to keep things as they are.

I get that Ember and Izzy are the new ones, but they really did get a lot of things that the other two didn't get. Even Mirri seemed to have gotten a few extra lines. Wonder who at ZOS hates Bastian this much though. I get it - note everyone needs to like every character, but it definitely feels like someone at ZOS hates him.
I have to agree about ZOS not liking our dear Basti very much. I remember back when they introduced the companions they talked about him for about two minutes (which was mostly "Uhh, nice tattoos!"), then switched to Mirri and waxed poetic...
Then High Isle came and they basically said "Yeah, Basti is so stuck up and boring, so we re-did the character concept and gave you the much cooler Isobel!"
But I am so very thankful that for some reason someone at ZOS wrote, and someone approved, this character, anyway. So people like you and me can adventure across Tamriel with a great friend at our side. ;-)

I wouldn't really expect old companions to be updated, any more than other old content is updated.
Having those letters would be nice but I wouldn't think about it too much.
I'd love it if Bastian were simply given a second daily quest that gave him +125 rapport. He already has the fewest ways of raising rapport, and only has the one daily (Mages Guild), and *that* conflicts with Ember who has three big daily rapport gains (Mages Guild, Thieves Guild Heist, High Isle Delve).

I wish they would go back and give us the ability to have Bastian's and Mirri's letters as furnishings.
Since Basti and Mirri have one quest fewer than the High Isle ones, it'd be amazing if they could give us a simple 'epilogue' quest for Basti and Mirri so they could have a third companion quest, and that'd give them a place to reward that letter furnishing. At least then they wouldn't have to retroactively assign it to various accounts.
pls ZOS? Best bro needs some love (considering he doesn't really get it from a large portion of the community...)

That would be great, and also put the Blackwood companions closer on par with the High Isle ones. Not only with the item, but having more quests too. It was a bit odd to me that nothing was brought up regarding King Emeric when it comes to Bastian and how big deal they made his father to be.

The issue Sharp-as-Night's passive had even got fixed, meanwhile Bastian's remain broken.
