Antiquities scrying does not display properly

Scrying base one tile click tool (tool 1), only the right side of the cell has the border:


Scrying farsight tool only partial border showing:


Scryed antiquity area on the map does not display properly:


And after I scryed the 2nd one the first one not even showing on the map at all:



Edit: last time I did scrying was before summer and was working fine, so it got broken since like June...

Edit2: no it's not addon, it's the same with all addon turned off

I did some scrying yesterday on playstation and it didn't look like that, it all looked normal. Could it be something to do with your in game or out of game video settings?

I have like 200+ addons (yes, it’s ridiculous) and i don’t have that issue. Try deleting the game’s shader cache before starting up the game next time you play. That can solve a lot of visual issues like this.
It should be in your “documents” somewhere. I forget where exactly. You just delete it and the next time you open the game, it’ll automatically create a fresh shader cache.

I have also had this issue since (I think) High Isle released, and I've bug reported it multiple times. I'm on Mac with some add-ons, but they don't appear to be the cause. I haven't found a fix yet.

@tindomiel4 have you tried deleting the shader cache file like I mentioned before?

nope, deleted that shader cache but no change, it's still broken

I do have the same problem. I play on Mac, tried deleting the said folder and also switched all the AddOns on and off to check if it's caused by them. I don't know when the bug first occured but I reported it twice, the first time sometime end of August. I encountered the problem at this time already a few weeks.

Does anybody has a fix for it since the last post here was a few weeks ago?

No fix, as of today (I just did a scrying) it's still bugged.

That’s so lame, y’all. Personally, if that happened to me, I’d put in a bug report every time it happened. Where it happened and what I had scryed for. Otherwise, just keep coming back to this post every week or so to mention it’s still happening.

It's the same with me. Maybe @NeuroticPixels suggestion isn't so bad. They will get a bug report everytime I play then ... which is very often these days haha.

That was October. And now it's December. And it's still broken.

Haven't done antiquities scrying for a while, did one today and it's still broken, so any news on when it gets fixed?

I have this same problem, but only when playing on my MacBook Air. I figured it must be limited to the macOS version of ESO, but if it's also happening under Windows then it seems like maybe it's due to some graphics settings such as desktop scaling.

Nevermind, I should have read through the whole thread before commenting, since it does seem to be a macOS-only issue.

With the new update I went to get the new mythic and the display it still broken.
