True fullscreen ? or just borderless windowed and sh*ty fps

So jump on early access today and find out that when i choose to fullscreen all i get is a borderless windowed, which i know looks horrible on anything i play. Iam running a gtx 790 which i know runs everything on max. I hope there looking to fix this cause this sucks.
