Slow XP gain in Cyrodiil.

XP gain in Cyrodiil is unproportionally slower vs PvE. One can run simple random normal dungeon daily for 101K XP in less than 10 mins. No way we can earn 101k XP in Cyrodiil. Maybe ZOS should increase XP gain in PvP?

Wouldn't that cause players to out level the under 50 campaign before they are even over.

That 100k of XP from the first random daily dungeon is a reward for filling a group, you can get the same XP reward for doing a daily random battleground.

Personally I don't even see the purpose of the <50 campaign anymore. Ravenwatch has many proc sets disabled as well as CP and battlescaling takes care of much of the difference in stats and skills from leveling already. At that point there is really no real difference between the two and the populations are both pitiful as it is. Might as well drop the one and make Ravenwatch the 'beginner' campaign.

So you want to dump those on their very first characters at level 10+ in with characters that are already level 50, that have all their builds skills fleshed out, mount training maxed and the best gear gold and time can acquire?

The under 50 campaign gives new PVP players a chance to go up against those of a similar level of skill and gear giving them a chance to learn, your not going to have much new blood sticking around in PVP if you send your beginners into an endgame campaign right away.

Not sure about now but in the past there were players that had different levels of gold gear for their below 50 characters. They take a below 50 in with the good gear and when the character hits 50 they delete and repeat.
and then the parrot said, "must be the water mines green too."

    Yeah.

If I had a friend that was new to the game and was interested in Cyrodiil I would not recommend the under 50 campaign. In my limited experience with it the campaign was nearly empty and many of the people in it were not at all new.

They'll be getting stomped either way when they meet other players.

At least if they join a populated campaign they'll be getting stomped with other people which will mean that other people may res them saving them the ridiculously slow ride back.
