Do you think ZOS will give us a "Change Class" token in near future?

Yea, it's an old ESO community's claim. Change class will give many players a chance to give their characters' preferred race a better class than the original chosen.

And yes, we could change the race instead in order to fit the class we got. But many times we really like our specific character's race and don't want to change it just to adapt to a class. We should have the chance to do otherwise too.

So, do you thing ZOS will eventually give us this opportunity? Or do you think this change will be a very problematic one for the game's structure and will never happen? Share your thoughts, if you want.

I doubt it, although they'd probably make a lot of money if they offered it. I think AwA was an attempt to remove the 'penalties' for rolling a new toon and made it even less likely than before.

I have found that the delete character option works well, and is free.....
I don't mind leveling up a new guy ---- it's kind of fun, and each character I do is a bit better than the last one, anyways.

It would cost them way too much money in the long run, and they will never give up a large source of revenue. To make up the difference, they'd probably have to charge $300 for a single token.

It should be a "free" (not a crown store purchase, but with gold) feature and people should be able to change it just as they can morph their attributes or skills.

I don't want a Class Change token because then EVERY patch people will be claiming that certain buffs and nerfs are "a blatant scheme to sell more Class Change tokens"

Yes, I do think they are working on it. "Near future" depends on the difference between how ZOS measures time and how players measure time.

Because they dont want to relearn all the motifs, get all the skill points again, relevel their mounts, do all quests again, get all the wayshrines etc etc

Creating a "Master Rider" token in the store would go a LONG WAY towards fixing that issue.... and people would most definitely buy it.

I doubt it with all the skill lines and skyshards and other stuff you can unlock in the crown store on your alts, they are sending the message loud and clear they want you to make more characters to spend money on these things and spend more time in game working on your alts.

Not just change the class of your main to whatever the current seemingly over-tuned class of the current combat balance patch happens to be.

Apparently, class change breaks core parts of the game and race change does not. It will just take them longer to monetize that part of the game.

Poll needs a neutral option. I think they could do it, but I don't have any opinion as to whether they will decide to make a class change token. That being said, we once thought they would never make alliance change tokens, and here we are.

I would still like a class change token because I wouldn't want to give up the progress I made on long-term endeavors (like crafting traits, motifs, recipes, the alliance war, and mount training) just to change a character's class.

Race change doesn't have the impact on your character a class change has. Nowhere near the same impact. That said I'm not a real fan of race change either.
