[REQUEST] I really want to make my second character as my companion.
I don't need companion character anymore seriously. Instead of it, I want my second player character
as my companion. It's more familiar appearance than NPC and 100 times more reliable than companion's build.
Moreover, I hate to watch the same face all over the town and field. It's so creepy.
And companion is extremely useless.
I want to change playable character in the combat situation. (Like " Clive Barker's Jericho" >check the youtube)
Make it possible without relog.

Though I do also suspect that it's unlikely to happen. Probably too much hassle to get them as a NPC, more so to use the skills and gear they currently have on as well, unless they made a seperate 'inventory' they use when as a companion to use the typical companion gear. Even then though I'd love to be walking around with my toons as companions!0 -

Pretty much this. It is the same reason why we will not be able to change the appearance of your characters other than their outfit.
To the second point OP made, it seems we will be able to hide the pets of other players, which I assume will extend to companions as they are just a slightly active pets.
It is also doubtful the last point will happen. It would (likely) require considerable work for us to be able to hot-swap characters since that is clearly not the current design. However, this does seem rather off-topic for the purposes of the rest of the title and the rest of the OP.0
