Chef outfit: hat disappears when using food emotes

Hello, I just recently purchased the intrepid gormet bundle to get the chef costume, and I like using emotes to make it seem like i am cooking, however some of them make your chef hat disappear and some do not. I'd like to keep my hat on at all times when using these emotes.
