Dark Convergence vs Rush of Agony

Can we get Dark Convergence set returned to its original 15sec cooldown? Its a useful set at 15 and not OP when compared to Rush of Agony!

Dark Convergence:
10m radius
25sec cooldown
Applies CC immunity

Rush of Agony:
10m radius
8sec cooldown
DOESN'T apply CC immunity!

Why nerf one so far and not the other? Either do both or return DCON back to 15sec where it was actually usable. At 25sec cooldown its basically a blank 5pc buff for 21/25secs!

    Well then adjust that.. cuz at 25 sec you have to be very carefull when you use any kind of ground effect which depending on your class can leave u sitting there for 21secs doing little to nothing so it doesnt go off at the wrong time and wait another 25!

    How about remove the increasing damage and make it equal to Agony with 15sec cooldown! That works too!

    You realize that RoA is significantly more difficult to use than DC, right? Like, you can use DC from much longer range and across elevation changes. It also does not require a target, so you can place it to maximize the numbers of enemies pulled. It also requires the use of a gap-closer, which limits the classes and weapon types that can best make use of it. And the pull gets extremely wonky during lag.

    Further, most of the time the pull only stacks enemies within like a 3-4 meter range around the target rather than neatly stacking up all targets on top of each other like in DC.

    RoA is good, don't get me wrong, but if they both had similar cooldowns there would never be a reason to use RoA over DC.

    DC needs to pull people like ROA does in order for a 15 second cooldown to be justified, they nerfed the wrong thing as DC pulls everyone to a point.

    ROA also has a minimal visual effect and thus less people complain about it.

    The reason Dark Convergence was given such a long cooldown is because ball groups are/were exploiting it in PVP. The set was created to allow bombs to blow up big groups, but instead, ball groups adopted the set and it made life unlivable in PVP. Imagine 12 people running around with the set. You couldn't dodge enough times to stay out of it, and these ball groups were rolling people, which is the exact OPPOSITE of the results they were intending.

    I hate the set personally, but I think it could have been changed without destroying its intended use. They could have made it so that the radius of the set got exponentially smaller when you were grouped with or in the vicinity of other friendly players so that it would never be worth using unless you were playing in tiny groups or solo.

    I think you missed the point.. Convergence has big graphic effect and was the only one SEEN but applies cc immunity and u cannot be pulled again until immunity wears off!

    Rush of Agony on the other hand with only 8sec cooldown and same range can pull you over and over and over again IN without ever applying cc immunity so a group of 12 could pull you back in repeatedly forever until your out of stam and can't roll out any longer n then drop ults etc. A group of 8 could pull you in every 1sec forever!!
