Waking Flame cultists briefly invulnerable in Deadlands delves PC/NA

I would get a screenshot but it's a bit difficult to capture. Anyways I've found when killing Waking Flame cultists in the deadlands delves (specifically the ranged and magic users), if I fail to kill them fast enough they will drop to their knee and regain all their health, and their entire group will be invulnerable for a few seconds as this happens. It doesn't look as though a spell is causing this, rather a bug of some sorts, and it makes trying to burn through mobs to do the dailies quite inconvenient.

Is it the NPCs that have a red beam connecting them together? I think they are using a skill like Guard in the Alliance skills group Assault. A tank NPC will start the tether beam to give another NPC extra health and if you don’t kill the tank first (I think that is the right one) then it does something weird when the tether is broken.

I have mentioned it before but never got an official response.

this mechanic has been around since the start of deadlands, i think its intentional for daedra there as the mechanic doesn't' show on blackwood or high isle areas. To get around it, place a DOT AOE around them so when they rise they take damage. They will have significantly less health after the rise so caltrops should be enough to finish them off

It dates back to at least Elsweyr. It happens with overland and delve mobs there. They are not Daedra.
