Best mouse settings and mousepad for 4K?

To get much less microstuttering while using the mouse on my 4K, I first followed the advice here:

https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/62562/graphical-fixes-including-zooming-in-in-character-creation-and-reducing-motion-blur

Then I set my wired Logitech MMORPG mouse G600 to 4000 DPI and 1000 report rate. Third person camera rotation speed within the game is set to 0.

Works great, in a way. The drawback with 4000 dpi is that the slightest mouse movement creates very quick movements on the screen.

Is there a way in UserSettings to set the ingame camera rotation speed to even lower than 0?

Finally, which high-end mousepad is best for 4K?

I haven't noticed microstuttering on 4k, I use a g305 with some random pos mousepad. I would not play with that high of DPI lmao.

Hmm, I got RTX 3090, G-sync 4K and all ESO settings on max. DLAA. Got microstuttering or blur/vibration now and then. See it in the background. The “spires” or spikes on the towers in Mournhold square are “microstuttering” for example, when seen from a distance. But objects closer to me are (usually) not doing this, unless I get a fps drop from steady 100 to 99 for example. (Yes, on 4K you notice 1 fps drop.) But sometimes I also get “microstuttering” when the fps is steady 100 when using the mouse. Keyboard movement is always fine.

By the way, I have my system set to 120 Hz, and the ESO fps counter used to show a steady 116 (not 120 or 119 for some reason) but since a few weeks ago the fps counter has been a steady 100 (or 99/98), never above 100. It seems like I’ve lost 16 fps. Any idea why?

Look for the Helpfull section in this guide for the FPS addon, it could be that your max is 100 for now

3090 is a very hungry card and is known to have some stuttering issues unfortunately, but I haven't kept up on it. TBH you would be better gaming 4k on a 3070 or 3080, but the 4k series is releasing in a couple months or so.

Have you disabled depth of field and customized your settings a bit? ESO is an old game and isn't perfect, I notice some blotchy aliasing from time to time despite being on 4k. There are some file shenanigans you can pull to increase fidelity and mess with the blur settings, I don't think you should be noticing 1 fps difference.. if you are above 60 then you're good. I never play at 120hz and it looks like a cinematic experience to me with no issues.

I'd hit up the nvidia forums (lol) or nvidia reddit and see if anyone has anything to say.

I had reinstalled ESO and forgot to click on mouse smoothing in the game, lol. It works better now, but only about 80% better.

When I get a microstutter or “vibration” in the game I sometimes check the ingame fps counter and it often has moved from steady 100 to 99, so there is a correlation there, which is noticeable, with only 1 fps drop.
