Ultimates for Warden?

I solo as a single bar stamina warden and am a bit uncertain about which ultimate to use. I don't use Wild Guardian often because he does not seem to do that much damage and the bonus bash seems redundant given that I can do more damage myself during the activation animation. The re-summoning animation when he dies is fun but takes too long in a major boss fight.

For really tough bosses I tend to use the Healing Thicket. It makes me robust and I am pretty good at wearing the boss down. Just takes some time and patience.

I also use the mage guild comet quite a bit, but that takes soooo loong to reload and I suspect should really be for a magika based character. I can do Vet Selene's Web with the comet but need thicket for Vet Arx. I don't know if that means the thicket is better for me, or if it is a case of horses for courses.

Just interested what ultimates people would suggest for the warden and what they think of the options.

Magicka bear morph. I've seen it doing 90k crits on bosses, and it rarely dies.

I use bear on both my mag and stam (bow/bow) wardens. I like the passives, help the bear provides and the whole idea of a bear companion. I never ever use the ultimate so my ultimate number is always 500. Therefore I slot the Red CP 'Strategic Reserve' that gives you healing regen based on your current ultimate number. In my case that translates to about +2k health regen which is a totally passive 1k heal per second.

On my Stamdens I use Mr. Bear always.
It's not a flashy ult but he rarely dies and draws agro a LOT, that alone is a huge benefit.
Also the ult can fire at like 75 iirc, which means I'm getting to drop it a lot more frequently vs. other ult types.
So those things plus the Animal Companion passives give you vnice boosts. Even tho the bear is an ult it counts along with netch, shalks, etc which all adds up nicely. :)

Wild Guardian is the best ultimate for warden in trials and pve content where damage really matters. For solo content, Eternal Guardian is like slightly better but only if you don't have a companion.

Oh wow, that had never occurred to me. I will have to take a look at that!
