Templar is dead

I have two five star templars in PvP, one mag and one stam. The jabs seem useless now. I even read on another members post to where they’re using shards and radiant destruction in pve for their Spam-able. With this update templar is not even playable unless you are a healer or tank. Thanks for ruining my favorite class…

It isn't unneeded. That is how upset this has made people who once really enjoyed something and had it all senselessly taken away from them all at once. I also miss my templar. I am glad others are raising their voices so that maybe the devs will actually hear how much it affected our enjoyment of the game and consider some revisions.

Others really enjoyed their work in setting up the class it was before and now sorely miss that playstyle that has been lost to them and want to be heard. One post isn't doing that.

questions to the OP-

What is your playstyle? (PVE- Vet or Norm? Trial, Dungeon, solo, DPS/Tank/Healer? etc vs PVP)

Have you tried golding out your sets? - 5 star means very little, it's ZOS's way of buffing up undergeared/underleveled people to be on par with others in certain scenarios.

edit: Which abilities do you have slotted? Weapons? What are your Templars' races?

What sets do you wear? What are their traits?

What is the Mundus you use?

Can you give us a screenshot of your stats?

Can you share with us your CP and slotted CP trees on the characters you play?

Are you ESO+? If no, do you own any DLC other than the free ones of Morrowind and Imperial City?

Do you own High Isle?

We may be able to offer some advice that can suit your playstyle if you are receptive to suggestions. This nerf gutted a lot of playstyles but I have seen many people not only thrive on templar as DPS but carry entire vet dungeons as well.

I wouldn't say that it is completely dead. Rangeplars are pretty awesome right now.

A separate post is uneeded when we already have a handful of "this game died and I am sad" posts already. We don't need to make 20 threads

Yes all my sets are gold if you played on Xbox NA you would recognize my gt. Not gonna list my build or mundus stone.

Ummm...what does this part mean? 5 star is an alliance war ranking that's really a measure of time played on the character and AP earned.

I have to really think the developers must not play this game or they just hate the templar class so much... I have been trying to play it but really I think they just want to end the Templar class.
