Tip to ZOS - Please be less stingy and more helpful

So many times in this game have I been stung by ZOS stinginess.
The latest event stands out as sad Customer service though.

I tried buying crowns on sale and the steam purchase failed. When I went back next day after waiting to find out from Steam why things went awry I logged in to find the sale closed. When I asked if ZOS could help me get the sale I tried to make (even providing the asked for proof of purchase) I was told they couldn't help me.

Why not? Why is it a slog to get any real help from ZOS CS? Why could you not reinstate the purchase I attempted? Are you guys given no ability to escalate this sort of issue or no power to fix people's problems? It's nearly always that I'm S.O.L when things go wrong. Why can't you guys just help people and make players feel more loved? Do you guys not want my money and don't care if you don't? It seems that way.

So many things in game fall into this issue as well, not just CS. It's not even things that would take much effort.

Please, just try to _help_ your players more. The cold corporation shoulder isn't a terribly great look or feel.

We play your game and we generally would love you guys more if you were a little more kind to your player base.

Thanks for listening.

They want your money, that's why they want you to buy crowns for full price.

On a serious note: it may depend on how the transaction is handled. To put it simply, there are two parts: initiation and confirmation. Either can get stuck, in that case transaction is rolled back. If service (in your case - Steam) have the first part saved, you may retry the transaction. Contact the Steam support and learn what can be done, though I fear that it's too late already.
