Are players buying so few crowns now (because of inflation IRL) that ESO must have ads (in the launcher) for one of its main competitors?
Will ad revenues really help ESO in the current situation? Maybe not. It’s unfortunate that billions of (more) people will probably soon be too busy working very hard IRL to have much time for online games.
Anyway, looking forward to seeing the Walmart mount and Costco costume in ESO next. The McDonald’s sword? Yes. Bring on the cheese


But, on a more serious note: who cares? Soon, ads and other issues in games, like the drawbacks of U35 for instance, will probably be the least of our worries.
