A little about our community

I would like to introduce all of you to the CORE Legion. We are a community formed from a melting pot of players from all over the world. We do not discriminate by race, gender, or age; however, we do require our players be at least 18 years of age or older due to our normal gaming vigor: strong language and possible vulgar references. It's just the normal gamer attitude in the majority of us, so we want to be fair and not advertise to those individuals who are young, immature, and offended by our way of life. We have tried inviting younger players and it almost always ends up not working out, there are exceptions but this is the main rule.

CORE: Counter Operations Recon Expedition. Sounds pretty cool, huh? A lot of people think so. Although our clan/guild tag is [CORE], we prefer the full name: CORE Legion. We are not game specific either, but Defiance was our starting place, and our founding game. We have players who also enjoy Final Fantasy XIV, Path of Exile and DayZ. We have our own DayZ server as well. We plan to offer even more games with each game having it's own separate leader to ensure the highest quality of clan service provided to our members.

We also do not focus on just PvP, PvE, or any other single aspect of any game. Our focus is made on a game's entirety. However, we're constantly questing together, doing dungeon runs and doing pvp.

We're all starting out as new players, however we do have many players in our community already that have done extensive testing on the game and are aware of the inner workings of things, so never hesitate to ask a question.

Lastly, our community is not worried about how often you post on a forum. We have a lot of older members and we know that real life takes precedence, so if you need to bail during an event or something, don't worry. The forum will be for posting updates and event times. We want players to put their headsets on, chat on our teamspeak, and play games together. That's what we are all about. There's no reason to stray from the true meaning and purpose that our community was built upon: play games, make friends, and have fun.

Another thing to note, we honour our men and women in the service. All services. So if you're current or retired military/police/ et cetera, let an officer know and you'll receive a teamspeak tag representing that you're a service member.

If you played Defiance, you'd find that we are well known for taking charge and winning the majority of the Challenge Hour events that Trion ran during the airing of the Defiance show. We are the pioneers of events known as Narfle the Garthok, Demolition Derby, Shark Attack, El Presidente, Dodge Ball and much more. We also had a racing league. We plan on applying the same amount of zeal to Elder Scrolls Online and if that sounds like something you're interested in, sign up for the CORE Legion community.

If you read the Defiance official forums, you'd know that I've been doing my best to push the developers into fixing bugs and bringing content worthy of our wallets and you can expect me to be the same on these boards.

Alliance: Ebonheart Pact (however with enough players we'll branch out)
Campaign: Wabbajack

You can play on any alliance within CORE, however your main must be in ebonheart because that's the alliance we decided on during the beta testing. So while on teamspeak, make sure you're playing your ebonheart character.

We have a guild bank available to all members, however new recruits need to ask if they need to pull something out. New recruits will get bumped up to member status (free access to the bank) when they've shown they're going to be active in game and on teamspeak.

We now have a guild store available, however items will only be added to make room in the guild bank so the prices will be cheap.

More and more members are hitting veteran content and we will start organizing groups to run veteran dungeons.

Our basic community requirements:

You must be at least 18 years of age.
You must have a mature attitude but you can act like a goofball.
Drama is a no-no and will not be tolerated.

Our most recent guild event, we had about 8 of us running around cyrodill for about 6-7 hours to gather all of the skyshards. It was a fun event and any enemies that tried to pick a fight were easily dispatched. We managed to clear quite a few of the dungeons as well.

We're always running guild events like this, so sign on up if you're interested. We missed 6 skyshards out of the entire zone because they were under enemy control.
