With the number of crown crate seasons increasing every 3 months, the wait for the return of a particular one can be pretty long! Here I have compiled (to the best of my knowledge) the dates of availability for all crates pulled from crown store showcases and posts on the official TESO Twitter.

Really nice having all the dates in one place. You can also find the dates listed per crate over on the Unofficial Elder Scrolls Pages.

I hadn't really thought about it before, but perhaps it would be an idea to have these dates in that table as well?

Only crate that haven't return in 2+ years is New Moon... With Hollowjack also getting there in 2 months.

If I had to guess based on past dates, I'd say look for a 7-day countdown on current crates next Thursday and Wraithtide releasing on the 22nd.

You're in luck, it's Hollowjack for October! Sure wish they'd start bringing back more than one season at this point. With Wraithtide we're up to enough seasons that if they're only bringing back one per month for 8 months of the year, it will take 3 years before anything repeats.

I never liked this, waiting for years so you can buy something digital that only needs to be activated by the devs to appear in the crown store.

It would be nice if there was an event that made all seasons available. Maybe during the Anniversary they could make all crates available? Or even rotate them during the event? Like day one has three seasons and day two has a different three etc. Something like that would be nice instead of waiting for years for something to return.

Something to speed things up would be great! Even if they kept their schedule but did two returning crates instead of one, currently it would still be a year and a half before they rotated through again.

They could also start grouping them by "theme" and returning them together that way. Maybe something like all Atronach stuff (Storm, Flame, Frost, Iron), the seasons with a spooky vibe (Reaper's, Hollowjack, New Moon, Nightfall, Wraithtide), and racially themed ones (Wild Hunt, Dwarven, Xanmeer, Baandari, Sovngarde, etc.) as examples. Some sort of grouping would at least help out as more and more get added every few months.

We should be getting a new season of crates next month, which likely means nothing returning until January once Dwarven is through. Although it would be nice if we could squeeze in one more re-run in the early part of December before Wraithtide leaves (assuming 8th or 15th). Once we get New Moon, that will be a wrap on all the crates that haven't been around since 2020!

I also wish they would warn us when certain crates will be coming back so we can plan ahead.

I literally do not want to see new moon until Feb. I could actually get the howler with endeavors if it doesn't show up until then lol. One of the only radiant mounts I actually really want. If not well then I'm kinda boned until like 3 years from now 🥴

End of the year update now that the December showcase is out! Thank you, ZOS, for the extra returning seasons this month! I like the idea of using the end of the year to give the year's earlier crates a quick return. Even better that we're also getting an older crate returning as well with a longer time of availability through the holidays! The next new season in 2024 will be #30; that's a lot of crates

I didn’t think I cared about the Sovgarde crates but I really need a better “hairstyle” for the Argonian character I’m planning! Too many even from crates are just a bit of feathers on the crown with the rest bald! The lycanthrope and white river braid styles are more to what I’m looking for but I don’t expect the Dwarven crates to return for quite some time. I do wish the always available styles for Argonians were better as there are some nice ones for men, mer, and Khajiit!

do you have the Roostertail Frills from the storm atronach crates? it's not feathers

They have skipped Frost Atronach and went straight to Psijic Vault crates so you never know they might bring out Nightfall crates next.
