Which legendary crafted armor/weapon is best to sell?

Is a legendary New Moon Acolyte’s Cuirass still a good item to craft if you want to sell it relatively quickly in a guild store? Or are other crafted sets better now? Shacklebreaker maybe?

And, btw, how much does the style of the armor/weapon matter?

Played this game since day 1, and whilst some armours arrived later, i have always found Hunding's, Julianos and seducer to be the most consistent sellers for me. Magnus tends to be good too. It mostly sells to fresh faced cp160's.

I never make them beyond epic (purple) and never put runes on them (i sell those separately). Making them legendary can lead to losses or profits that ain't worth much at all. I just make everything Xivkyn. It's still one of the best looking armours out there, especially when it's dyed black.

Do you sell them in gold version or just purple?

Is that a rectum dagger? Not trying to be vulgar, but ESO devs are the ones creating names such as Vanus and Sejanus. Invites juvenile vulgarity :):)

The answer is whatever one isn't being sold by 100 other people - so this is not easy to answer. Crafting for profit is better as an offered service where you don't pre-craft anything and you instead take orders from people. The margins are way too tight and risky to sell pre-crafted armor yourself. If you absolutely must do it, look at various beginner sets on a site like Alcast (it's just where new players gravitate towards) and make those, but make them in purple as nobody looking to purchase them is going to want to pay gold mat prices.

I don't understand why someone would gold out a crafted set. While Hundlings and Julianos are fine starter sets, and even outperform some dungeon sets, they are not worth golding out. Heck, with the constant changes with every other update, almost no armor is worth golding out anymore. But if you asked me if I'd rather have a legendary set of Hundlings versus a purple set of Relequen, I'll take the Relequen.

New Moon Acolyte legendary used to sell pretty good, but after returning to ESO my new NMA gold armor piece has no customers. Any crafted armor/weapon set that is “meta” this update?

I can't really help here- crafting gear to sell is one of the few hustles I haven't tried.

But I'll just point out New Moon is a 9 trait set. I'd imagine that would make it more sought after then a 6 trait set like Julianos or Hundings.

I would never advise making crafted armor to list in a trader. Only real exception might be research items like nirn weapons, maybe certain jewelry items.

You are better off doing custom orders for what players actually want (and hoping they tip well), or just selling your raw mats in a trader. The "crafting fee" aka the amount you make above the intrinsic value of the mats is laughable. Everyone and their mom is a 9 trait crafter these days.

One of the better crafted sets now is Order´s Wrath, which takes a whopping 3 traits to make, so... it might be easier to just sell the tempers instead.

Yeah, if there is a fresh new set on the block, its Orders Wrath. Mostly a PVE set (also a ganker set), so Divines Armor, Bloodthirsty Jewelry, Precise/infused Destro staffs, maybe some daggers probably sell, but I still think its a gamble to make sets to Sell as opposed to just selling the mats. Hard to know what armor weights people need, and if they care about the motif or not.

I think Orders Wrath is a more universal set to be crafting if you plan on selling. Not everyone wants to deal with the increased skill cost from NMA for the comparatively little damage increase. Orders Wrath on the other hand is useful in both PvE and PvP at even the higher levels of play as it provides an unnamed crit damage bonus and has great 2-4 piece boni.

NMA got nerfed a number of updates back. They removed some of the weapon and spell attack from it, so no one touches it anymore. Better sets give similar amounts of weapon and spell attack without the drawback.

Order's Wrath and Wretched Vitality sell well. I can get ~150k-200k out of Wretched Vitality jewelry upgraded to blue, so about 100k-150k profit. Takes a few days to sell though. Order's wrath on the other hand sells for ~100k, but sells pretty fast. But it's only a 40k profit.

Heartland Conqueror is the best crafted set when used in conjunction with Nirnhoned weapons. Definitely gold out the weapons, but the set armor itself can be white quality and still give the 100% buff.

Lacking damage? Try this combination. It not only increases the damage of your weapons, but it also raises the damage on your skill tooltips as well. Nirnhoned also buffs healing, but not quite as well as Powered.
