Just curious on this topic. I’ve sent in countlless tickets with vids attached over the past few months about this and nothing…I MEAN NOTHING…is being done about it. Or do I have to buy even more crowns for my tickets to be looked into???

Things could be going on behind the scenes you aren't aware of. They don't usually tell you what action they've taken when it involves another player.

Have you messaged the baggers and let them know that it bothers you, and that you want them to stop? That needs to happen before Zeni will take action.

It’s being toxic at this point. Guys just bagging everyone even players he isn’t killing. Yes I’ve messaged him about it. Just more bs responses. Sent messages into Zos about it and nothing. I don’t mind getting bagged by someone that legit kills me. Gg to you. But when it’s someone who doesn’t it gets irritating.

Your one report may not lead to actions against the person, but that puts your issue on record. If there are enough people reporting this, then at some point action will be taken against the account. It's possible it's a 3 strike system and your report is strike 2. The player doesn't necessarily even know that just one more tiny infraction might push them over the edge into a ban.

I also agree with others that actioning an account over a single person's report may not be the best course of action, but it will depend on the situation. If there is a pattern of behavior, reported by many different people, then the CS reps looking at those reports will have more information to go on.

All we have to go on is Gina saying it can be considered harrasment if they do it to you all the time. In the same way me mudballing you constantly could be. On top of that she said you have to have actually asked them to stop doing it.

Firstly if you're reporting every single random instance of this from what little guidance we've had it sounds like you'd be filing false reports.

Secondly you said countless, if you've been sending dozens or hundreds of false- or just extremely trivial, reports, I'd say theres a good chance you've been flagged and they simply stopped reading them.

I don’t usually play nb in cyro. Both of mine are under level 30’s. I play every o try we class though. Like I said. Doesn’t matter if I’m playing on said persons alliance or a different one. It continues to happen. It isn’t just me barking about it either. There’s been many players sending in to cleats about it. Waiting to get rez’d during a fight and dude sits there for 1-2 mins straight bagging dead toons on screen. It’s getting to the point where it’s beyond trolling. I get it. You kill someone you bag a few times then move on. But when someone does is for a few minutes straight it’s just annoying. Don’t even get me started on the whispers that follow by player(s) who appear offline so you can’t reply. It’s toxic. It’s trash. It’s a harassing culture online that shouldn’t exist but it does. Again…I don’t mind being bagged by people that kill me. It’s the trolls that don’t that intentionally do it non stop when you die. This has been carrying on for the past 5-6 campaigns now.

I undestand what you are getting at, but why are you dead on the ground for minutes? Usually, when people see a person not ressing up fast (unless in BGs) they usually know there is an NB or someone in the vicinity waiting to res that dead person. (Ok I read that in your text ) To draw them out some may tbag to act like their guard is off. So that said person who is hiding reveals themselves by attacking. Every veteran player knows, if you are sitting there for ages, someone is out there waiting to res you.

Why should they let you res up? Why should they leave your body and not wait for your friend to reveal themselves and clean house? It's not trolling, it's just pvp tactics. Invest in tents 20k AP per...

I'll give you some advice, when you feel like you are about to die, the keep is being overrun, run as far from the keep entrance as possible. Get out of the keep if it's being turned. Try to get behind a rock or a place most won't walk to. That way you are out of sight from most of the traffic. Then your friend can res you and only fight maybe one person. The max time they'll stay is 5 minutes. If not tell your friend to move on, go take a bathroom break or food break lol. They'll be gone. Then ask some random person on your alliance to res you if they are nearby. (To do this you need to hurry up and hover your crosshair over them to get their name. Quickly hit printscreen and go read their names lol. I've done it from time to time) Also if the amount of time sitting on the ground is the same time it takes to res and walk there...just walk..yes I know your horse mount isn't fully up...or the battle may end before you get back. Just move on to the next possible place they may go attack.

You have to respond to your ticket because the first response you get will be a generic bot message. If you don't respond they assume you matter has been settled. After that you will be contacted by an actual person who you can send screenshots to and communicate your issue to. After that make your case on how what they did is a violation of terms of service. I remember reading a thread on something similar with a dev response saying you need to contact the person/persons and ask them to stop, make sure to document, then after it is a TOS violation and considered harassment.

    LOL

The repeat offenders almost always play in offline mode or put their victims on ignore before their toxic behavior. (that makes it impossible to message them)

    [snip]

It can lead to a ban. Zenimax has said as much, which is where @Reverb saw the need to message the person doing the t-bagging. That is directly from Gina's message.

There was a recent thread where a player was asking for the exact nature of when Zenimax will ban someone for such an action which is also been answered by Zenimax for a different nature. For that, it came down to Zenimax not going to ban someone just because they t-bagged someone after they were asked not to. If they have a history of causing issues, it will increase the likelihood that such a report would lead to a ban.

So any player who has received at least one warning from Zenimax could receive the hammer based on Zenimax comments.

    @SizanLopkniht

Send them an in-game mail. That offers an easier-to-find record of the request.

You can't send an email to someone who has you on ignore. Most of the worst offenders put their victims on ignore prior to their toxic behavior.

and that is something to include in the report. It is called avoiding and trying to bypass the system. Zenimax is smart enough to figure this out when they receive multiple reports on the same person.

Oh, BTW, it is typical for games to keep detailed records of player behavior and interactions they have with them. It is saved for years.

I don't teabag anyone, although I admit that I've a soft spot for nightblade gankers that come out of nowere, try to kill you and when they realize they can't, they try to fly away with cloak. Having played a Nightblade myself, I've always detect pots with me, and when you put down a Ganker, man, I've to say that it's hard to resist to send them a little love and do a little teabag with a smile on your face.
On the other hand, I get teabagged a lot, but I've always taken it for what it is: an innocent joke in a PvP game. When people teabag me, I smile and move on.

Tbagging does not hurt you. It does nothing to you. But you want the enemy player to get banned for some childish behavior? Take away their favorite game, because you get worked up over playing a video game? That is way more "toxic" than everything you described.

There are countless ways to troll, bully and harass people on the internet. You should definitely report everyone doing that. With screenshots and videos.

But throwing cakes in your face, camping your dead bodies, dancing and celebrating a victory is not harassment! It is part of the game. I would call it teasing. I do not like it either, but it should not bother you. There is a line. I personally draw it at hatewhispers and threats. If they aren't obviously just stupid trashtalk.

Please don't project your anger on other players and try to get back at them in real life, when you can not deal with them in game. Best you can do is to look at your map and move on. If you do not like being teased, block them. If they kill you every time, and mock you for being a bad player, try to learn from it and kill them back. But do not copy their bad behaviour and let them ruin your gaming experience. At least that's what i am doing. And i bet i am having way more fun than the players throwing their controllers at the wall every time they get zerged.

One can always quit the game. Or the mode. Or PvP. If the PvP community generally would be "really bad", that would have impact on the size and could contribute to PvP overall suffering. With this seemingly not being the case though, I will just assume overall it ain't that bad. And if you got on the wrong footing with one individual? Well, unlucky for you, but can't be helped. Get over it. Maybe its your fault in parts anyway? I mean you could leave out some important parts of a story here, no one knows.

As for me personally? I likely wouldn't even realize if I am being tebagged or not :3 that never aint the focus of my attention anyway. When I die, I check for the reason. Then I respawn. Simple as that. Teabagging others ain't an option for me too. No way I waste time on anyone I already send into the dirt.

    Hello!

As this thread has run its course and is no longer constructive, we are now going to close it.
