Essence of Weapon Power bug

It seems Essence of Weapon Power is not working or not stacking if Oakensoul is active. I can't register no Major Brutality, Major Savagery after I took it.

Is it a bug or is intended?

Yes, thanks, I know. But I just want to confirm if the Weapon Power potion don't work with Oaken. If yes, I'll change my potion strategy considering that WP is not worthy to me.

Named buffs don't stack. If you have it from oakensoul you can't add it again from a potion, skill or equipment.

Ok, thanks. But I understand that ZOS"s Oakensoul was nerfed to "minor" version many of its former important buffs. That means that any major version of said skills are not allowed to stack? Not even from a equipment? That's preposterous imho.

Oakensoul, rigth now, it's not a "god mode" Mythic (never was in fact, but I'll not press on this point here) anymore.

If this piece will remove ALL possible buffs -- minor or major -- from ALL resources, this means ZOS created an absurd situation. A weird mythic ring. It gives alone all resources any character ever need or will able to get from any other important resources! wth?

If all this was true it means that any character using oakensoul basically doesn't need any DPS/Crit/etc. gear, race skill or potion to be considered in "god mode".

By the way, skills and equipment DO stack with oakensoul. I tested many times. That's why ZOS decided to nerf it.

Oh, well. It's time to stop wasting my time in arguments to defend a point no one cares.

the only buffs on oaken that were nerfed to minor versions were Courage, Berserk, Force, Protection, and Heroism

named major and minor buffs do not stack (and never have)

rattlecage for example gives passive major sorcery (possibly brutality too but havent checked the set since hybridization), so it would be effectively the same as using oakensoul (at least for that one buff)

this mythic doesnt "remove" any buffs, its already granting you those buffs, so it makes no sense to try to use another gear or skill or pot that gives those buffs

you can definitely stack gear with other unique buffs, like powerful assault for example is a unique dmg buff
