Nothing is permanent, and change will occur. They're going to change their game, and their product as they see fit.

I've ranted about the exact same item as you have previously and was bitter but the reality is it is being changed, there is nothing you as an individual can do, and you can either sit back and rationalise with an internal monologue to work through that and find peace or do as you have and mix it up with other titles.

There's nothing wrong with taking an extended break and exploring new opportunities, but only You are going to be in control of how long you choose to allow disappointment from a video game to shadow your life.
