I think it might be usual for the chapters to go on sale in mid-to-late August, probably around the time of QuakeCon. Back in 2017 when I first started playing ESO, I bought the Morrowind Digital Collectors edition of the game, along with the Guilds & Glory bundle of the first four DLCs, at the end of August because IIRC they were all on sale.

And although I didn't realize it at the time because I was playing on just the PC NA server, the fact that I bought the Guilds & Glory bundle outside of the game with a credit card during the promotion instead of inside the game from the Crown Store meant that those first four DLCs were also available to me on the PC EU server.

I think sales usually happen across all platforms, but their start/end dates can vary by a day or two based on the platform. My *assumption* is if XBox is seeing this now, PC and PlayStation may follow later today/tomorrow.

A sale randomly in the middle of the month is odd. Many people are monthly paid so surely they'd be in a better position to spend at the end of the month as opposed to the middle of it.

PSN also has the game on sale, can't check on the crowns tho, my ps4 is retired.
PC will prob get it once the Crown store updates, I'm guessing

Yeah, seems to be consoles only at the moment, Steam is also showing regular, non discounted prices for crown packs.

I think High Isle will be only about $12 in September. Based on the reviews from other players I can wait until it's down to $12-15 range to make the purchase.

Lesson learned. Forget buying crowns whatsoever unless they're on sale.

I will get some crowns, haven't decided how many yet, but I am still on the fence about High Isle at $25.99. Of the content I like, there just doesn't seem to be enough of.

I have confirmed the crown sale is on the Official store and Xbox. Steam doesn't appear to have the sale active yet.

There should be an official announcement soon.

In the same token many get paid weekly or bi-weekly and are in a better position to make such purchases in the middle of the month.

Granted, it would be nice if people could get ahead ok bills instead of living paycheck to paycheck but such issues are life for many.

(Do not like concept of gamble boxes/crates so don’t buy them.)

For me it's houses, furnishings, sometimes a mount or pet like the upcoming inventory pet.

Anything available exclusively in crown crates does not exist to me.
