Cadwell's Almanac Gold

After doing every single quest of the Ebonheart Pact and ready to give in the Cadwell's Almanac Gold quest...

I have found out it is bugged. It is very frustrating.

The quests are recognised as done if you check out the map, but not in the Cadwell's Almanac Gold.

What it actually looks like (19/19 zone quests done)



I have this problem with the following zones:

• Deshaan (1 "uncompleted" quest)
• Shadowfen (1 "uncompleted" quest)
• Eastmarch (1 "uncompleted" quest)
• The Reach (1 "uncompleted" quest)

Well. In Eastmarch, the fact is that the quests in the area "Cradlecrush" are NOT part of the Zone Story quests, they are technically sidequests - but they are necessary for Cadwell's Almanac.

And the map picture you have, does not have the location of Cradlecrush even marked on it (it's directly south of the Frostvault dungeon): you haven't been there and discovered the location, so there is no way you can have done the quests there.

Some other Cadwell quests are also sidequests, rather than zone quests, in other zones too. Perhaps you should pay more attention to this?

Further to the above:

In Deshaan, the SIDEQUEST "Wounds in the World", at the Shrine of St Veloth, is a Cadwell quest, but not a Zone Story quest.

In Shadowfen, the SIDEQUEST "Outside Interference" in the Hatching pools, is also a Cadwell quest, but not a Zone Story quest.

In The Rift, the SIDEQUEST "Worm Cult Summoner" at Trolhetta, is a Cadwell quest, but not a Zone Story quest.

(These are all pretty small quests, in fact, that you really ought to have done alongside the actual main zone story quests: evidently you missed a quest giver of a mini-quest in each of those zones. Whereas in Eastmarch, with Cradlecrush, you've missed an entire location and a chain of TWO quests in the zone.)

I suggest you locate all these quests and check whether you have, in fact, done them.

I clearly remembered to have killed daedras and closed the portals.... to have hurried to the hatching pool location... and killed Kerelia Lucullus - anyway it's good to know these aren't included in the chain of quests. I will give it a look right away :-)

edit:

The last quest has been marked as started. I have completed it and the game still asumes I haven't done it. I have the feeling I will log in, invest some time in finding the quests and at the end the result will still be that the almanac is bugged.

I hope I am wrong

Yes you were completely right! I probably remember doing these quests on alt characters.

That was very confusing to me, as when completing the silver I don't remember to take any side quest as them were all chained together.

Well, when you first posted, you clearly had NOT started the Cradlecrush quests in Eastmarch, since the map picture you posted showed literally nothing in the area where it should have been - you hadn't even been close enough to the location to discover it for your map.
